My mother went into surgery Friday with Dr. Buendia for her hernias...she didn't survive the surgery and was dead by Wednesday. The mesh he implanted caused her to have complete organ failure.

In August 2020 Dr Buendia did a Nissen fundoplication on me. Fantastic job, it's been six months since my surgery and I haven't had any acid reflux since! Because my birthday is also in August, this was the best $15,000 birthday gift to myself ever! Thank you Dr Buendia, you live up to your name because every day has been a good day for me since then!

Dr. Buendia is one of the kindest medical professionals I’ve dealt with. He takes time to make sure any questions you have are answered, listens to any concerns you have, and doesn’t make you feel rushed. I’m very happy with the experience I had with him.

3 years ago Dr Buendia performed a Nissan Fundoplication and hernia repair on me, in a life changing event. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Buendia, his knowledge, his expertise, and his bedside manner. While recovery from this surgery can be difficult, he gave me post surgical instructions that I followed to a t, and have had no problems whatsoever. He resolved a problem that I had had for 47 years. I was also pleased with his staff. I must also recognize my stepdaughter Jennifer Shrader, an RN at Mercy Hospital for having recommended Dr Buendia to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr Buendia!

I highly recommend Dr. Buendia!!! He performed my first and only surgery in 2009 with compassion, reassurance and exceptional follow up. He paid special attention to detail and made it his primary goal to support my recovery with his dynamic precision and technological skills. I still can't see a scar. He made me feel confident and comfortable. I appreciate his supporting cast (staff) as they stay current in the medical field and Dr. Buendia for being a doctor who performs at an amazing pace, delivering the best care and attentive follow up with the patient's experience at the forefront. He gets 5 stars + 5 more stars.
