List of Julie Lowe Md's Reviews
We have been going to Dr Lowe for about 5 yrs…her comprehensive exam style and the personal interest she shows my wife & I is appreciated! She is the best!
Dr. Julie Lowe, is a very professional but always friendly and helpful and will answer 1 question or 50 until the patient feels good about an problem or nervous on a procedure. I can trust her and depend on her to always be truthful and then take care of me to the best of her ability. She makes me feel at ease. She is great person and a Wonderful and Awesome Doctor.
I made an appointment in December for my son to be looked at who is a current patient. We couldn't get in until the end of January to look at possible melanoma on his face. We then went to our appointment in late January and arrived 30 minutes early for the PA McKenzie to be in the room with us less than 60 Seconds. She says that we must come back for another appointment for a biopsy. Now we have an appointment for March 5th, 4 months after we requested an initial appointment for a possible cancer. I'll be searching for another dermatologist solely based on my experience today with the PA. They just lost three patients
Dr. Lowe is wonderful... she is kind, empathetic and very knowledgeable! She has excellent bedside manner. You may have to wait quite awhile to get in as a new patient, but she is absolutely worth it. Her staff is excellent too! So glad we found her!
Confused by some of the bad reviews here-I’ve been seeing Dr. Lowe for over 5 years at least and have never had any issues. The doctor herself is friendly and remembers personal details (or at least bothers to read her patient notes before she walks in) and I’ve never felt overly rushed. She’s not sticky sweet so I guess I could theoretically see some people thinking she’s curt but I prefer that. Only “complaint” is that it can be hard to get in with the doctor but the wait for a PA is only a couple of weeks at most in my experience so if you really need something, you can get seen. It’s also very easy to call and reach someone for med refills and making appts. I’m a perfectly happy patient!
Went in for a simple skin check. Of course you don't get to see the actual Dr...Her P.A. checked me over, sprayed a little Liquid nitrogen on a few spots and told me I was good to go... Then I receive the bill OMG $175 just to have the honor of walking thru the door and then another $125 for the 10 minute visit with the P.A. So $300 for a 10 minute visit with a P.A. Since this visit I have found another Dermatologist that only charged $75.
Scheduled an appointment a month out and could only get in with the PA. (Have detailed email from the day I scheduled it with date/time and other details). The appointment was at 9:00 am. We showed up at 8:55 and was told they show the appointment was at 8:45 and since we were 10 minutes late they would have to reschedule! We found another dermatologist. I recommend you do the same.
Julie is the best!! Very down to earth and personable. Awesome bedside manner and she really listens.
Horrible practice! My mother made an appointment in early December for a cancerous mole on her nose. They told her they accepted her insurance (Medicare) and made an appointment for Jan. 31 st. Upon arrival, they said they did not accept her insurance. When she asked to pay cash for her visit, they denied her again. They let her walk out of there with cancer on her nose, even though she had insurance and offered to pay CASH. They don't care about you. Only the money.
Perfectly. Comfortable

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
