Karl Hansen's Online Review Report Card

In 2017, Dr. Hansen & hie team helped me conceive within a month of their care. I'll be forever grateful for them because now I have a beautiful 4 year old son thanks to them. They are kind & professional.

I have only seen Dr. Hansen a few times as Dr. Craig is my main doctor. He is way more gentle than the female docs and seems to be the most knowledgeable. I trusted his opinion way more than any others. But all of the docs there know what they are doing and are all really sweet and encouraging. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Dr. Craig is way more high energy than the others so just depends on what you like!

We went to Dr. Hansen for infertility in 2011. He spent time to explain to us step by step the process.

Let me start by saying that I would recommend (and have) this office to ANYONE trying to conceive. After 10+ years, medications, ultrasounds, and 5 failed IUIs, we conceived on our first IVF and are getting ready to do a frozen cycle IVF. The staff is wonderful, and they remember you from appointment to appointment. They follow you through it all and know exactly what is going on with you, as if they are a friend, not just a nurse. When I started w/ Dr. Hansen almost 3 yrs ago, he took into account what I'd already had done, what we already knew, and I was able to skip certain steps and go right into treatment and procedure, which I appreciated very much. I knew ahead of time what I would have to pay, and as a medical professional, I know that these places and people have to be paid up front for what they do. Again, they made my dreams come true, and I am 100% confident they'll do it for me again! I'd recommend to ANYONE!

Dr.Karl was nice to me when i visited the office.Did my surg.good and called me after few days to know how am doing.Answered all my questions on the phone without being mad at me.But the only thing that made me to stop going was his charges to me.The money i paid was much.I would have loved to go for IVF but am afraid how much he will ask me to pay

I have been seeing Dr. Hansen for over three years now. In the time I have been there I have seen little to no turnover at his office. He has always made us feel like we were his only patients and has helped me so much with my endometriosis and trying to achieve a pregnancy. Waiting time has always been very little even on busy mornings. His colleague, Dr. Craig is always extremely nice and helpful the times we have seen her when he is out. I have used their on call weekend service twice and always received a call back from the physician within 5-10 mins or less. Dr. Hansen has a wonderful calmness and humbleness about him. He is very respected within his field. I feel how much his staff cares about him and the job they do for him and his patients. His staff has always been polite and always say hi to you even if your not their patient for that day. I would recommend his services to anyone. I am so thankful for him and his team. They have been such a blessing and support to us.

DR. HANSEN IS VERY GOOD IN WHAT HE DOES. HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE BUT A MAN OF FEW WORDS. SOMETIMES WHEN HE'S BUSY I FELT LIKE I AM BEING RUSHED. BUT THERE ARE TIMES THAT HE HAS THE TIME TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AND SO AS MY HUSBAND'S QUESTIONS.HE EVEN CALLS ME AFTER SURGERY AND CHECKS ON ME AGAIN THE NEXT DAY. EVEN THE STAFF AT OU SURGERY CENTER CALLS ME EVERYDAY MAKE SURE I WAS DOING OK. I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO CAN'T GET PREGNANT AND HE WILL FIND A WAY TO FIGURE IT OUT WHAT'S GOIN ON.

This physician's bedside manner and communication is excellent. However, the front office policies, procedures, and customer service are quite below my expectations. Being that my time is primarily spent on the phone or in person with the front office staff, it is difficult to way the pros and cons in favor of staying with this provider.

DO NOT GO TO OU REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE!! WILL BE A MISTAKE The front office people are very rude. Kendall who deals with the finance side of it needs to learn to do her job. She is EXTREMELY RUDE!! I had already started my 3rd ivf cycle and when she told me that if I couldn't come up with the money from my past 2 cycles that this one would be canceled. I had already started my medication, I was 3 weeks away from my transfer. When asked why I wasn't told about this prior to the cycle starting she could never give me an answer. When I asked why I wasn't told this before my SECOND cycle she said she doesn't know because she is new... well HELLO learn to do your job. Kendall kept saying "let me know if we can help in any way" when I would ask if they could take a lower amount to proceed she would say sorry no... so why did she even say to let her know if they can help, she fake and rude! When I asked if Dr. Hansen could make an exception since I had already started and would be out the money for all the medicine, not to mention the dr visit co-pays and time away from work... he said no. So I really don't think he cares about his patients as much as I thought he did. I had 2 failed cycles with him and he could not give me any reason why! I have now transferred to Tulsa Fertility Center and I LOVE IT. I recommend every goes there.
