Dr. Pickerel is AMAZING! There are not enough words to describe the care and commitment he has for his patients. He's extremely professional and is the authority for Rheumatolgists in the State. His bedside manner is wonderful. He is kind, reasonable, informative and extremely patient. He takes alot of time to make sure you understand test results and how to follow your treatment protocol. Honestly, one of the best physicians we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is an absolute joy to deal with and his staff is very supportive and that compliments the experience in his office.

For 20 years, I felt ignored, dismissed and gaslighted about the health problems I experience. Dr Pickrell was a much needed breath of fresh air. He has a wonderful bedside manner and treated me with respect. I felt heard and cared for, rather than like another appointment to check off. He spent a great deal of time listening, asking questions, and finding answers to issues that others had given up on (or ignored). Truly he is the best around and I can't recommend him enough. His staff is also incredibly kind and pleasant to interact with, which is always helpful as well.

I did some homework before I chose a rheumatologist and it paid off. Dr. Pickrell, was so patient and treated me as I was the only patient in the office, took his time and had genuine concern in all I shared with him.
