If you start seeing Dr. Reddy and are already stabilized, he is OK. However, if you start having emotional difficulties & try to discuss them, he immediately shuts you down and says we are here to go over your meds; you need to talk about that with a therapist, but he refuses to recommend one. His total unwillingness to discuss emotions, makes it very hard to get into a need to have additional help with issues, like depression or insomnia, because he shuts the conversation down. If you continue to try to explain, he becomes very irritated. Although you are scheduled to have a 15 to 30 minute appointment with him, he ends the appointment after about 5 minutes. It does not seem to matter to him if you are done talking to him about concerns.
