Dr. Avant did my mom's shoulder surgery yesterday and he's great! He's very knowledgeable and informative and has a very good bedside manner, and he takes the time to listen to and answer your questions.

Never in my life been so unimpressed with a doctor's office. From the very first visit we've been given false and misleading information, nothing is consistent from one employee to the next. Appointments go hours past their scheduled time, nearly everyone in the business office is RUDE and dismissive.They put a cast on at a post-op visit that left the actual fractured part of the hand exposed. Ignored patients questions and concerns regarding said cast. Cancelled an appointment with no warning and then tried to reschedule at the last minute. Argued about what the doctor claimed regarding the cast/brace (again, no consistent information from anyone on staff at any point).These people are liars. They have no compassion and honestly outside of some MAs and techs, nobody really seems to know what's going on or what they are doing. It is honestly frightening, the level of incompetence I saw displayed after every encounter. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy receive treatment here, let alone a loved one.For your own good, stay far, far away from OCOM and "Dr." West and associates.

Professional staff, on-time!

I'm agoraphobic and suffer from extreme anxiety issues but I got to give Credit to the OCOM Team it couldn't have gone any better from Check In Labs EKG COVID-Pre testing, Every individual was professional personable compassionate knowledgeable it Couldn't have gone any BETTER if I hand picked each individual interaction myself TYASVM for making it all as Pleasant as possible💯💖⭐

I was employed here for a month and was treated with absolute disrespect, the CNO Marva Harris, OR Charge Nurse Katie Vaughen, Former HR Emily Phipps and Newer HR Lady Dayla Morris and others who associate with the department, were doing everything in their power to get rid of me. I never felt so disgusted and humiliated in my life. I am a nice person and I am one of the most hard working persons to come by, and the fact that they were constantly picking at me and everything surrounding the department was beyond my control. There are always normal issues that happen in the medical field, you address them and find a solution. I honestly feel like my situation was due to prejudice behavior and also to belittle me. I don't know how they can be proud of treating people this way, I was always present and nice and I couldn't believe that they tried to get me out of there by writing me up, making me feel like I am crazy, making accusations, lies and so much more. I could have stayed at my last job, this was completely disrespectful, I lost my job due to people just being hateful. I never in my life been through this and the fact that they lack professionalism, I never feared for my job, feeling helpless, knowing that they wanted me gone, I knew they would come up with something to accuse me with and sure enough they did and they chose to suspend me with the intent to fire me, yes this happened in the 30 days of me being a new employee. I could have a job right now but they wanted me gone. I also reported that an employee Sara Smith, who used to be in Sterile Processing and is now in Materials, that she was following me and harassing me and provoking me and they did not do anything but remove her from being a source of help. I feel like this tactic and this deal was a complete waste of my time, I feel like I didn't deserve this at all. I can imagine why they are struggling to retain employees and hire them on, but to waste company time and money should be illegal, why even hire me with the intent to fire me? why? I feel like it costs to hire and it costs for them to leave. I didn't deserve the treatment I receive here. Also upon receiving a call that I was terminated because they accused me of these two unknown sterile sets that an scrub tech supposedly took to the OR was the reason they state they fired me, on top of that the HR lady Dayla Morris claimed that they contacted corporate and made the decision, I do not know if that was actually truthful. I would not recommend working at OCOM ( Owned by USPI). I was supposed to be the new Sterile Processing Manager.

Very poor service and communication. One person contradicts what the last person says so really you have no clue what’s going on. Difficult for family members trying to check on loved ones. Lie to patients about visitors, lie to family members about visitor policy. Patient is told they can have visitors but visitor is told it’s not allowed. Would not trust them to mend a doll if they cannot figure out their own visitor policy.

They did not get me help for my anxiety attacks. I have them when I see blood needles cutting devices. They didnot give me a 10mg valium pryer to my surgery on my hand. I asked the person on my prescreening phone call to do this for me and she said I have no way to get you the medication pyer to your surgery date. She said that they would give me an IV to relax me. Just wait tell sept 1, 8:30 am they will find out when she trys to stick me with that needles and I go cold out!!!!

I had a 3 minor surgeries at OCOM North, and my last surgery at the S. Walker location. The North location was fine, but when I went to the south location, I was amazed at how wonderful they were! They were so user friendly, I was completely comfortable there! They didn't coldly bark out questions while another nurse stabbed me for the IV. The same pleasant nurse, Patti, was the only one who prepped me, and I felt like I was in some private luxury hospital for the "rich and famous"! She was amazing, I felt like she was an old friend by the time we left. Had I realized a minor surgery could even be so pleasant, I would have, and will go back to the south OCOM location every time. Thank you to them for the great atmosphere!

My daughter had MRI completed at 6:45pm. The Drs office did not have results by 10am next day. I called and spoke with Shyan in medical records at OCOMM. She was able to push through to get readings sent over to our Drs office as promised for our appt and she called me back to let me know. Big thank you to Shyan!!
