If I could give zero stars I would! The last two times I have been to the emergency room for my 10 month old daughter. We have waited in the waiting room for over three hours! After that three hour mark and multiple children still being in front of us I’ve had to leave both times and take my child somewhere else! I don’t know why they call it an emergency room because they don’t act like anything is an emergency here

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! After hours of waiting, we had to actually leave!!!! They let us know it will still be a couple more hours before our 4yr old will even be checked in! There was another child here with a broken leg having to wait in the waiting room just as long as us if not longer! If you want your child to get actually EMERGENCY medical care, go somewhere else!!!!!!!

THE WORST WAITING EXPERIENCE AND ROOM EVER. My daughter needed an catheter and they made her sit for hours while needing to urinate. Because “sorry, we’re just full” then kids puking on both sides of us for hours. That was fun too.

And you have OU affiliation. What a joke. The whole university should be a joke. Waited in the ER while nurses stood around laughing and talking. We just left.

The reviews regarding horrible experience are true! Parents this is your warning!! Their triage is horrendous and there’s no reason a 3 month that’s been vomiting and dehydrated for over 24 hours should keep getting pushed back because she’s not “losing a limb or losing breath”, in the words of the RN that was working the front desk. They have horrible reviews for a reason and they’re all true. 13 hour wait to still not get seen is something I’ve never heard of. Plenty of RNs walking around and laughing with each other while the emergency room is full of sick and injured children. There is no reason why services should not be accessible for parents. Do better!

Spent 4 hours in the waiting room with my daughter having an open wound. We finally left and drove to Integris where they saw us immediately.

Honestly, this hospital really let my daughter down today.... it's so sad because this hospital used to be amazing. And now they let 100 employees go?! Good luck! Where this place let us down, Integris really went above and beyond. Integris even gave my little girl a little bottle of bubbles and some cute little dress up fairy wings to make her feel better.

If I could give 0 I would. Very unorganized with long wait times. My daughter was suffering from seizures brought in by ambulance and was put out in the waiting room behind 20 other patients. I don’t mind waiting it’s the fact that it was an emergency and was not attendees to promptly. I recommend if you have an emergency please go to another hospital.

I believe every child is entitled to be seen quickly but there are certain sever health issue such as stroke, heart attack ,and seizures that should be attended a bit quicker then others. Not only did OU fail to quickly help children ,but also dismiss a 9 year old child who had just been brought in by and ambulance due to a severe seizure and made wait while vomiting for 4 1/3 hours. I am extremely disappointed in the care given at this hospital.
