I swear. We always wait at least an hour just to be seen. We’re in here currently waiting 🙄 worst management system I’ve ever seen.
I’ve brought 2 of my children here, most recently my 8 yr old to see Dr. Zapeada. She is fantastic. She answered all of my questions and was so good with my daughter. I have nothing bad to say about our visit! I would definitely recommend bringing your kids here for eye care!
Immediately after my son was born, we noticed a “bounce” in his eyes. I was able to get it on video for my pediatrician who sent the video out and referred us here. We waited 3 months for the appointment and about a week before, they called to reschedule because “the doctor wouldn’t be there the day of our scheduled appointment.” Doctors have lives also so I completely understand. The receptionist told me the next available appointment was 2 months away, and I told her absolutely not. She was able to find a sooner appointment 2 weeks after our original scheduled appointment. The day of his appointment they called and pushed back our appointment by 40 mins. Then called be again an hour later to say that the doctor had a surgery and that we would have to wait around. We drove 3 hours there and back. And waited for 2 hours (which we were prepared for) for the doctor to speak to us for less then 60 seconds. Came in looked at his eyes, said it’s normal and quickly walked out. Asking the staff when her next appointment was as she was leaving our room. Didn’t ask us about other concerns. Just said it’s normal. I definitely don’t feel like she even watched the video that my pediatrician sent, or even looked at his chart. After waiting 3 months plus 2 week reschedule and another reschedule the day of the appointment. And waiting 2 hours, we probably would of felt better if she sat down and had a genuine conversation about our sons eyes. Still feeling very uneasy about his eye movement and will most likely have him looked at my someone else. The woman who did all the questioning, eye exam, and dilation drops was very friendly and seemed like she knew what she was doing and really liked her job. Doctor and front staff seemed nice, but I probably wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Something as serious as your child’s vision deserves quality time and care.
So not even 5 mins late they tried not seeing me ur allowed to atleast be up to 15 mins late an I get after being late ur actual appt they have a right to not see u but that is messed up my kids have cataracts not even 5 mins late they wanna try scheduled FURTHER out then there like well ppl who were here on time will be seen first like isgaf my kid will be seen yall rude never like this place ride drs thinkin about switching to dean mcgee
Make sure you clear your whole day if you make an appointments. The doctor is never on time. Ive had to wait over an hour for my daughter's last two appointmets.
Staff up front is amazing! However the 1-2 hour average wait after your scheduled appointment time is a bit ridiculous. This place def needs more staff to handle patient load or dont have so many appointments scheduled. Its currently 3:30 PM and our appointment was at 1:30 PM, and we are still waiting...
We have used this clinic and the one at Dean McGee for 6 years and like any medical clinic there are times that it is busy but overall the staff is great and the clinicians are amazing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
