Some of the nurses do not have bedside manner and they really need to let people know that only one person can come with the patient so if you have a loved one having surgery make sure only one person comes and do not bring children either they would be having to sit outside in the waiting room by themselves. No one told us so when it was time for my dad to have a surgery my sister's and I went and we could not switch out to tell him by or sit with him or anything. They just really don't have clear communication.

Time management is a joke in this place. Told us to be here at 6:30 then we sat around until 10:30 when they finally took her back. We didn’t leave until a little after 3. And the old black granny in the waiting area is rude as hell. I got a snide attitude just for asking when I could go back to see my wife in recovery. The Doc and nurses were great but they need to give the old lady the can in reception, there is no need to be rude to people concerned about their loved ones.

TODAY I had a procedure at 12:30, I arrived a little earlier, everything went very quickly, I was very satisfied. The staff is very friendly, the doctor and his team are wonderful, thank you Dr. Abraham

Place is a joke regarding time management. Fifteen minute procedure was to begin at 10:55 and at first told me to be here at 9:15 and then they called back and said 7:30. I asked why so early and was given no explanation. Sat in the surgery waiting room for four hours. Totally unacceptable.

I went in for a second surgery on hand within 1 month and was immediately reminded why I chose to have it done here. The admin staff that that did my intake remembered me and was exceptional again at making me and my fiancee feel welcome and comfortable. As soon as we were taken back to pre-op I was pleased to find out my nurse was again Marylin. It instantly made me feel more comfortable knowing she was my nurse. I can not express in words how greatful we were to have her. I don't want to diminish the care or quality of any of the staff but Marylin was our angel during my pre-op stay and I can not think of a proper way to say thank you to her and the rest of the staff. When surgery got close all the docs, (my main surgeon was Dr. Lansinger, an amazing doctor who went the extra mile in my care and made both me and my fiancee feel like a priority in her busy schedule along with doing an incredible job with my hand) and nurses came and talked to us explaining what was going on and the plans during surgery. Multiple times during both surgeries they called my fiancee and kept her updated making her as relaxed as she could be. In recovery I was immediately offered coffee, which I had mentioned wanting as soon as I woke up. I hope all the staff see this as it's the best I can do to say thanks to them and hope anyone else reading this give this place the chance to care for them.

The nurses and DR's were amazing. Everyone was very friendly and explained what was going on very good.

Verry organized and compassionate

Supervisor nurse Tracy is very rude and uncaring she has been reported by others on 7/27/20 I had surgery to remove 2 tumors and also some parts of my six-pack muscle that the tumors started to root into this was my very first surgery I was afraid and also alone due to covid no one can even enter the hospital with you and all but one nurse (the night nurse I forgot her name) was very rude they had additudes and flat out got upset because I was in pain or was asking simple questions about what's next and what do I need to do and no do since I'm missing body parts and they took more then what we spoke about it wasn't a problem I was just shocked and knew that we had a plan before surgery and I woke up and seen that the cuts are way bigger and in different locations I wanted to know if everything else we spoke about is the same but nurse Tracy was upset that I had questions or I couldn't stop the pain or talking about the pain I was in she rolled her eyes at me she huffed and puffed all in front of someone she was training to be just like her it took them 12 hours to bring my belongings I have never been hospitalized so the board supervisor nurse Tracy was writing on was all chicken scratch and would have still been if I had my prescription glasses I had to wait for when I asked nurse Tracy can I have anything for this pain because I have never felt anything like that before in my life I was almost in tears all nurse Tracy did was say while rolling her eyes was my meds and times I take them are on the board and asked if I could see I then told her idk what anything in here is on top your abbreviating stuff I don't know what it is in the first place and no one has told me anything I'm just laying in that bed hurting trying to fight my tears back she then told me to try moving around because there is nothing she can do and it's crazy because from what I can remember that was about the first 30 mins I remembered after waking up I had no family or anyone inside that place with me and everyone other then the night nurse wouldn't even ask me if I was ok or answer ANY QUESTIONS or anything I would think a nurse would do or say it took them at times 20 mins to answer a call just to tell me they will let the nurse know 30 mins later I call my wife she calls the hospital asking what's going on the night nurse come in and she told me no one ever told her I called for help I spoke with other staff members and they told me the head nurse has a lot of complaints I just don't understand why she still has a job after being exposed for treating injured people like trash I felt so uncomfortable and a big burden the whole time I will never have another surgery my first experience was the worst and nurse Tracy on the 4th floor inpatient need lots of people skills training and also a new career

Had parathyroids taken out surgery went good. I was going. I was in recovery for 8 hours 5 of which I was totally awake and walking around because they couldn’t clean rooms. I ordered my dinner at 5:30 in recovery and at 8pm when I was transferred to my room I still had not received it. So they said that I could have a sandwich with my sore throat that I can’t even talk and hardly swallow. The rooms are falling apart it looks as if they opened a closed wing and just reopened it for use as a temporary fix for after surgery care and they are short staffed for it too. They literally told me that they couldn’t talk to my mom who is there for me bringing me stuff because they are too busy. I will not be coming here ever again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Truly awesome and caring staff from the check in to the nurses, the Drs and the surgical team. Everyone was professional, efficient and caring.
