Raha Nael's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr Nael for 8 years after a massive blood clot occurred spanning my entire lower extremity and did not dissolve after my release from the hospital. She has a compassionate staff who are very responsive to my questions and needs. Dr. Nael always takes the time to listen to me and spends the time needed to address my issues. I am seeing out of network, as she is worth the extra cost.

Originally good experience. Then out of the blue I received a letter from her in the mail telling me she didn't want to be my specialist any longer and would never say why. So that was that.

$22,934.42, the charges for using Dr. Raha Nael at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital for a Varicose Vein treatment, which with most any other vein doctors would cost $500.00 to $2000.00, that is what I have been told by other doctors that do the same procedure that I had done by Dr. Nael. She was going to do the same procedure on my left leg a short while after the she did the right leg but I cancelled because my right leg was very painful. My leg is still painful and in some areas numb. Dr. Nael's office tells me that is normal up to one year other doctor's have told me it is not normal. Thank heaven I did cancel or it would have been another $22,900.00. Also, they told me that there are many veins in the legs hence I would have to have more then one treatment on each leg. After getting second opinions I was told I did not need any treatment on my legs. I had pain from varicose veins in my right leg prior to surgery but no pain in my left leg. Bottom line, if you need treatment for painful varicose veins and don't want to be way over charged AVOID Dr. Raha Nael. Dr. Raha

After having full treatment of varicose veins, I highly recommend Dr. Nael and her staff. I have to travel some distance and they were very good to work with for combining procedures and keeping my travel to a minimum. The staff was very competent and I was completely satisfied with the level of care I received.

Underexperienced and overwhelmed. She may be comfortable addressing minor vascular issues but for serious vascular issues, it is recommended that alternative physician be sought. Seems uncomfortable with patient questions. Staff is terrible. OHH Physicians is better than this particular doctor in my experience - it’s just a shame that they do not have a vascular doctor that is of the caliber of other physicians in this group.

I have been treated by Dr Nael for chronic DVT. Her staff is fantastic. Although her clinic seems overwhelmed most of the time, she takes the time to answer my questions and any time she has stated that she or her staff would follow up, they have. She has a caring demeanor and has always included me in the discussion of the treatment plan. She has been willing to work with my other physicians in the overall plan of care to make sure my treatment is the best it can be.

Great doctor friendly and really helped me when other couldn’t

She is a very beautiful, pleasant, young lady. She expressed herself very well, had a very good grasp of my problem, and had a necessary procedure for a cure. I would gladly recommend her to anyone.

I was treated for Venous Insufficiency by Dr. Nael in 2016. The actual (2) procedures went well and I have no complaints regarding Dr. Nael or her office. The problem came later in Wound Care...with a different doctor...major problems, but eventually via time (almost a year later) & steroids the ulcers were healed which is why we had to have the ablations in the first place.

Seems competent at the procedures she performs.. Bedside and clinic manner run hot and cold. Staff REALLY needs work at better communicating with each other. Went in for my last procedure with what I thought was a solid plan for aftercare, post surgical team completely dropped the ball and let me walk out without appropriate compression, which was a big deal to me, and made for an excruciating recovery for what should have been easy. Drops/fires patients when conditions get complicated.
