List of Richard G. Wood's Reviews
My father-in-law trusted the experience of Dr. Wood. When his symptoms started getting worse, suddenly it was difficult to get in for appointments, and he was told he would need to wait for imaging & a biopsy. Finally out of desperation my father-in-law went to another doctor who was able to get him in within the week. Unfortunately it was too late. I would not recommend Dr. Wood, as a doctor that won’t listen to a patient’s concerns is not the advocate you need for life threatening matters. The delay in care had a part in the death of my father-in-law. Proceed with caution if you choose Dr. Wood and if you suspect something is wrong, trust your instincts and get a second opinion quickly.
My Father considered Dr. Wood a friend and trusted him beyond measure! However, when his health deteriorated he turned his back on him. It crushed my Father and attributed to his passing quicker. Just the action of Dr Wood leaving his side assured my Father he should give up! When it’s easy Dr Wood can handle it but don’t count on him for the long haul!
Dr. Wood has been my doctor for over 8 years. I came to him with pulmonary hypertension. Other doctors had given up and told me to get my house in order. He saved my life. He got me on specialty drugs, and I am doing great. His nurses are the best. I know God led me to him. He and his staff are the best.
GREAT DR.
This guy did not say much to me except I had COPD. COPD IS SUCH A BROAD TERM THAT IT DOES NOT MEAN MUCH. He gave me a prescription and said come back in a year.
I was very impressed with Dr. Wood. My niece worked with him and loved how he treated his patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
