Dr Bales work is satisfactory. His nurses are exceptional. My problem was with billing. 2 months in a row I received one page bill that indicated small amounts paid by my 2 insurance companys. When I received payment statements from my 2 insurances I called for clarification and was met with hateful remarks indicating how stupid I was. That's what I owed, bottom line. Finally, after turning all over to an attorney, received call back from person in charge. I was unable to communicate because my attorney had all my paperwork. Received a very hateful letter with a FULL statement of several pages that indicated where my insurance payments were applied. I feel the full statement should have been sent from beginning. No one should be allowed to talk to someone in the manner she talked to me. I will NOT recommend him because of this situation. I was assured me talking with Dr Bales would be to no avail, she is his Mother!

Dr Bales has performed cataract surgeries on both eyes for me and I can see without glasses for the fist time in 40 years. His team along the staff at Purcell hospital were friendly, courteous, and efficient. The entire process was one of the smoothest medical procedures I have experienced. I have already recommended him to someone.

Dr. Bales is a down to earth friendly physician Who is also a skilled surgeon. He did the cataract surgery on both of my wife’s eyes.She fiormerly wore contacts For years.After the surgery she did not require lenses at all.

I don't have words for the great new world that I can now see thanks to Dr. Bales and his team. I didn't even know how much I was missing [seeing] till he operated on my eyes and restored to me all the beautiful things and colors I've been missing. I highly recommend Dr Bales.
