To whom it may concern - after 2 years under Dr. Hamilton's / his urology fellows and staffs care, we have moved to Vancouver. Unfortunately without a family doctor out west, it will be an adventure in finding a more helpful/knowledgeable/caring urology clinic than here. My final app't filled with many questions and personal concerns were all kindly and professionally addressed, and only demonstrated to me the quality of care at the PM 4th floor clinic is top notch.

Dr. Hamilton is the Jedi of urologic oncology. He is an excellent surgeon and doctor. If he is taking care of you, you are in the best hands.

I actually miss going to see everyone in the cystoscopy clinic. Very caring and helpful for the many years I saw him. Amazing doctor

twice hospitalized my uncle from overmedication he is still in hospital overmedicated because i cannot get ahold of his office.

After 2 appointments. at Princess Margaret 4th floor, I have to totally agree with the other reviewers(patients) descriptive words of Dr. Robert James Hamilton - amazing, very knowledgeable, supportive, professional, are often used. Add to that his calmness and caring which made my appt. very comfortable to the point I felt as if I was questioning/talking about my prostate issues with my son ( if I had one- have all daughters ). After working in various hospital settings for over 3 decades, I have to again concur with two previous reviews of Dr. Hamilton. Total package.

We love Dr. Hamilton at Pacific Pediatrics in Santa Monica. He is very knowledgable and caring with our baby and we feel like we are in great hands. He works with us on our more natural approach to our baby's care. He has worked with us to help heal our baby's eye gunk without the use of antibiotics which we were trying to avoid. As parents we both have allergies and Dr Hamilton works with us to limit the exposure of allergens or aggregators for our baby.

I had cancer and I am cancer free now due to God's blessing to introduce me to Dr. Hamilton. Words cannot describe my feelings and gratitude. He is the first and the best in his field. God bless him and his family. That is my prayer.

Dr Hamilton and his team have always provided outstanding, personal care for my now 11 and 15 year olds, from birth. He returns phone calls himself even on busy days, goes out of his way to squeeze you in in emergencies, and is down to earth. A calm guide is what you want in a pediatrician, whether your kids are prone to illness and bumps or generally healthy, and that's what he provides. As a parent, I don't let politics guide my choice in medical care, and I would imagine your children's health is too important to do so too. If character is important, take a look at the work he does for the poorest and most vulnerable in Africa and Latin America.
