I stopped seeing him because he refused to prescribe me some medicine he said I needed, because it could be harmful for a possible baby if I got pregnant, even if I assured him I didn't want to have children. He asked if I had relations and what was my contraception method and decided his conscience would not allow him to prescribe me said medicine because of the slim possibility that I would get pregnant and it could be harmful for a baby that never existed. This was before Roe v. Wade was overturned- I can't imagine what happens now. Yes, it was a medicine for my eyes. This was the worst of it, but I wasn't happy with the way he treated me until then either. He would insist that I had to look up things online instead of explaining what I had to me, even if it was a rare condition and I asked him multiple times. He would just tell me: you're not going to go blind, look it up on my webpage. The receptionist was also rude.

The blonde headed nurse that works for Dr. Dahr was screaming at my mother. Dr. Dahr came in the office and took the nurses side and told my mom that she could either come back in Oct or she doesn't have too. Very unprofessional!!

Dr. Dahl is the Best. Courteous, kind, and has great bedside manner. He was been my retina dr for years. Go and see him, you won’t be dissatisfied. The staff will have your best understanding of your needs.

Very Busy, but takes time to cover all information from tests, very good at diagnosis and treatment options. Is very good at what he does and diagnosis of autoimmune issues. Top Choice in our part of the nation, well educated, respected and published nationwide.

Do not go, went to make an appointment and person answering the phone was so rude. Met Dr. Darren in clinic and said come see me. I was told by the receptionist he is not taking new patients and was rude. Ask to speak to a manager and she hung in my on 7/12/21.

I see others made comments in regard to wait times. Anytime I have to wait a long time I try to keep in mind that Dr. Dahr sees a lot of patients in a days time and some are emergency appointments. Also, when you get dilated, it’s going to be a bit longer. Dr. Dahr is a great physician and so far the only one I have found who understands uveitis and how it works. I trust him fully and cannot say enough great things about him as a retina specialist.

Dr. Dahr and all of his wonderful staff are fantastic. I have been going to the Retina Center for about a dozen years. I have had rare eye problems for 22 years that I will have to deal with the rest of my life and Dr. Dahr is the only person I trust to take care of my eyes so that I can keep seeing my children's faces as they grow up. The team at the Retina Center are professional and very kind. This is not a place that you will just be in and out. Dr. Dahr and his team are thorough in their work and they do take the time to explain things to you and answer your questions. And more than that they treat their patients like whole people and not just customers to be rushed in and out. I am beyond grateful for the care that I have received here. If you want the best eye care in the city, I highly recommend them.

Doctor is an outstanding, professional. I highly recommend him to everyone!

I am alive today because of the skill and knowledge of Dr. Dahr. He has helped coordinate a team to treat my rare cancer. He simply is the best doctor that I have met. He cares deeply about his patients and just a shining example of what Doctors strive to be.
