We can not say enough good things about Dr. Patel. His kindness and the way he talks to his patients and family members is so refreshing. Plain English and to the point. Surgery was preformed yesterday on my husband and even though we don’t have the 100% all clear. We do have peace of mind that Dr. Patel cares about my husband health and life. You can clearly see that Dr. Patel has passion for his profession and is well, THE BEST! Thank you Dr. Patel!

Dr Patel went into my surgery planning for 4 hours and was patient to keep working robotically for 8 hours, when he could have chosen to open me up and move much faster. He knew it would be easier in my recovery to be robotic, and I appreciate him so much. He went above and beyond to cover all the areas with need due to my cancer spreading. He works with us with no ego and is very helpful and thorough in his descriptions of what needs done and why. Great doctor and surgeon.

He saved my husband's life, and is still taking care of him, this was 4 years ago, during his recovery for months, every Tuesday he would call at 7:00 for updates on how he was doing, when he had an infection later he was at the hospital every day he was in there, just to check on him, he always answered our questions and gave us the options on how to go forward to make his life a better experience, he is beyond a Dr., He's caring, patient, and a gentle person, we are grateful for him every day.

Best doctor/team hands down! He is absolutely amazing at what he does & wears a smile at the same time. I’ve been under Dr. Patel’s care since late 2018 after being diagnosed with a rare genetic condition that caused adrenal tumors that he removed for me. He & his amazing staff have gone above & beyond in care for me. I truly got lucky with them being a huge part of my care team!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Patel. My dad had a very rare tumor and we had been told by another doctor we wouldn't be able to find a surgeon that had done more than 2 of these surgeries ever. We found doctor Patel and he had done 8 that year alone. He was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail and really put me at ease for my dad's surgery. He had a great team working on my dad that day. And he's been amazing at the follow ups and has referred my dad to other doctors at OU Medical for my dad's other health issues. Dr. Patel is not only intelligent and a wonderful doctor, but he's a very kind a patient man (he put up with my many questions and incessant note taking). You can tell he really cares about his patients and their families. I will always be so thankful to Dr. Patel for doing such a wonderful job on my dad's surgeries and everything he's done after.
