Valerie Engelbrecht's Online Review Report Card

Dr Engelbrecht is such a wonderful doctor. It’s always nice to have a doctor who makes you feel at ease, especially when it that doctor-tge gynecologist. She’s been mine for several years. As she got older, she did not always want to be on call for laboring moms. She was able to only see patients that need a gynecologist and not the obstetrician. I can always get into the Dr within a few days after calling. She also accepted my daughter as a patient even tho she’s SO well liked that her patient roster was full. She as a Nurse Practitioner that works for her that can see patients that are there for only minor things such as Pap smears and birth control prescriptions. I highly recommend the lakeshore Women’s group and offices as well as their own private hospital. It’s so nice to be able to get everything you need in one area. They have a radiologist for mammograms in the same medical park, so you are not asked to drive all around the city for different annual tests that women have to have. Most employees, or at least all of them that I’ve had dealings with ARE Women which is also very comforting. It helps to have a doctor who has been through the same things as her patients. Dr E makes her patients feel welcome and very comfortable which is key in this area.

I made appointment for menopause treatment. She spent max 10 minutes with me & then referred me to a pharmacist across her parking lot. She has no clue how to treat hormones! Ridiculous that I have to pay over $100 for max 10 minutes when I made it clear when I called for appointment what I needed!! I hate incompetence!

The doctor is very friendly and qualified.

Valerie has been mine and my mothers OBGYN for many years and have always been well taken care of. Trustworthy, professional, informative, dependable.

She always takes her time and explains things so well that anyone can understand; has even drawn diagrams and charts for me. She is very compassionate and gentle with routine checkups and other tests. Really makes me feel comfortable enough to ask her about any GYN questions that I have.

I would recommend Dr. Engelbrecht to anyone who needs excellent care. I had some severe menstrual issues and needed a hysterectomy that my insurance said I didn't need. Dr. Valerie went to bat for me and got me back to health and forced the insurance to cooperate. Thank you Dr. Valerie!

I have been a patient of Dr. E. for almost 20 years. I would never consider any other OB/Gyn. She is simply the best. So kind and concerned and very knowledgeable .
