I was looking up Dr Ward to see if he is still at OU. My daughter was 2 days old when she became his patient, 11/14/85. She was critical. Dr. Ward and the late Dr. Elkins collaborated and Sarah went into open heart surgery on 11/16/85. It was a frightening experience, but Sarah was given another chance at life. I saw first-hand the devotion and dedication that compelled Dr. Ward. We went through a few more surgeries and Sarah is a beautiful 32 (almost 33) yrs old. Forever your fan, good Doctor

Dr. Ward is by far the most wonderful physician my family and I have ever known. The wise, loving, and thoughtful care he gave to my younger sister throughout her life extended that life almost 50 years beyond her life expectancy at birth. His bedside manner is superb, and he went well above and beyond in helping my sister and my family during the final days of her life. We will remain grateful to him forever.

Dr. Ward has been my cardiologist since I was 7, I'm 39 now.. I recommend him to anyone that needs one! He is awesome

Dr Ward is a jewel!!!!!! from the first time he aw my son at 4 days old to now, 16 yrs later, he never ceases to amaze me with his knowledge of the human body ( not just the heart). I have referred many people to him with their babies hearts and will continue to do so!!thanks Dr Ward.
