List of William Randall Kakish's Reviews
It is pretty pitiful when a Dr. see a patient, does a colonoscopy and then elects to move across town and then cannot see the patient again because of the location. Pitiful service, i guess people travel by horse and buggy. I guess it is all about him. Find another Dr.
I started seeing Dr. Kakish in the early 90’s when he was a new resident at what was then called OMHealthcare in NE OKC, He was kind and I was 1 of a few patients that he had in his 3 years of Residency at OMH when he they came a private doctor I still saw him at his new office a few times. He was great he knew I was in an abusive relationship with my husband at the time. I have recently moved back to Oklahoma City and I do hope that he will accept me as an old new patient again. I’m calling the office Monday to see what my chances are because he’s a really great caring empathetic Dr. a rare find In today’s world.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Courteous and my procedure went exactly as planned.
Bedside manner that no other surgeon has. Intelligent, easy to work with, and a good sense of humor which anyone undergoing a colonoscopy can appreciate.
I have been going to Dr Kakish for over 12 years, I think he is one of the stop Gastroenterologist around. All I can say he is the best He is very caring and understanding, I was going through a lot after I had Covid with health issue, I had a lot of anxiety Dr. Kakish was always there very kind and understanding. You could not ask for a better team than what he has.
Think twice...spends very little time with patient. My mother called 3 times for prescription refill with finally a call back 3 weeks later. Too late and no explanation for delay as to why nobody returned calls
He hired an NP to handle his cases. She was unable or unwilling to read answers to the questions she posed. She never answered all the questions I asked-- She'd pick one and completely ignore the rest. Kept asking the same things over and over. When I complained to Kakish, he gushed to defend her, just like how a good lover should. When I asked for him to go ahead and call in the prescription he said I needed and then please transfer my case to another doctor, he simply had someone notify me how to transfer my records to another facility. Ef me on the medicine I need. Well I guess the joke's on them if I die before I can find another doctor at another hospital, huh. Hippocratic oath be damned.
I had a "routine" colonoscopy performed by Dr. Kakish. During the procedure, he punctured my colon, which later ruptured. He did visit me in the hospital, but had horrible bedside manner - actually joking about things! I had to have surgery, removing 12 inches of my colon. Long recovery period that should never have been necessary, had Dr. Kakish performed the procedure in a competent manner. I doubt I will ever risk having another colonoscopy, but if I do, it certainly will not be with Dr. Kakish!
I have been a patient of his for many years. I no longer live in the OKC area but I travel to see him. He is that good. Very professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic which is a rare combination for GI specialists. I have seen many other GI doctors but none have the empathetic and approachable bedside manner that he does. He's great!
Awesome doctor. He is very through and his staff is top notch.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
