I have known Dr Hale since I was 2 maybe 3 he did three of my surgeries I have cerebral palsy now 46 in two weeks I have him to thank for me being able to walk with a AFO I work and I'm independent when I moved back from San Diego I called his office they wanted to charge me just to stop by and say thank you I said no thank you but in my eyes he will by hero thank you Dr Hale

Great experience! He repaired my right knee and highly recommend him.

The first time I went to this office. I was very disappointed. The doctor came in and started talking to me about the British and their guillotines and so many beheadings they carried out but then when the French started using the guillotines they quickly passed up the Brits.   Sounds crazy right? Oh it gets worse. Second time I had to go in he left me sitting alone in the room to take care of personal business after yelling at his employee. She had told him someone needed the address of his hanger. He yelled the name of the place and for her to look it up. That she could ask Google. She started to say something and he interrupted her to yell," You don't know anything, they don't know anything, nobody knows a god damn thing." I heard him in another room asking his phone for the address then went back to the employee again yelling. That's the address but they can't get in without me."! " I have to be there ! It's double locked."  When he came to my room, he told me he was a family practitioner 45 years ago and you used to just give a cortisone shot and send the person on their way but now they don't do that.  He gave me the most painful shot of my life in my shoulder.  About an hour after leaving the office, I called to ask how long it would take to start working. The woman said", it's only 3 so by 5 it should work. I told her I was in a lot of pain. She assured me it would just take time. Well I got worse and the pain had me in tears and vomiting. Next day I called and told her to please let doctor know what happened and put in my chart in allergic to this shot. She said," oh it sounds like it didn't work." Maybe I should tell doctor ". I said yes, I'm asking you to and to chart it. She said," I can put in your chart."    I could not believe what was happening. By this time I, my husband, and friends were praying that he would not do a manipulation surgery. I asked my husband to go back with me on my last appointment. He was shocked at what he heard. First we were told," Dr. is late because of traffic."    Later my husband told me he heard them talking and he wasn't in traffic. He was in court. When he came in he said ,"So your cured". I said no, I had a bad reaction to the cortisone. He had me move my arm to see if it had gotten better. I told him I had been working on it. He then had me Mo ring my right arm. I told him that nothing is wrong with that arm , it's the left. He then tells my husband," I told her to join a gym."  He had never said that to me. Then he said he didn't know how he's supposed to be doing a surgery if he can't use cortisone and told me I'm not allergic to it.  Then the kicker was he tells my husband ," She's a wuss." My husband said , no she can take a lot but she was really bad after that shot". The doctor said," Aw, she's just a wuss. He said this at least four times.  I will not go back. I would not trust him to do any procedure on me. Very unprofessional , rude and disrespectful. The team at my physical therapy office say I'm tough and even have to get me to not push so hard  because I overdo it. So a wuss this lady is not. The doctor also stated," medications work differently for people. It's ridiculous that they give the same medications to black people that they give us. They're not like us. I know they're human beings but they're not made like us. "  I was not believing what I was hearing. I have friends of a variety of races and I felt like I got punched in the stomach.  Not a nice place to go.

I would like to start with the front office.. they were very helpful and thorough. Not to mention nice..but, the Dr. was not nice at all! First, he was grumpy  and forgetful and not to mention called my 13 year old son FAT!! He did this 3 times. Not a nice thing to say to anyone. I would never go back to him or refer him to anyone.

If you want experience and know-how, then you go see Dr. Hale. He's been practicing orthopedics for over 40 years and has seen everything.

I loved Dr. Hale and was very pleased with his work but sadly I am extremely disappointed by the unprofessionalism of the office manager Kristen. I left messages with the front office three times to discuss a concern and she never returned my call. I called back to follow up a few weeks later and she admitted that she got my calls but didn't seem concerned that she never responded. She was very rude, unapologetic and sarcastic over the phone. He is The best! I am walking again because of his expertise. He is kind and listens with great compassion. Our family has been very great full for his exceptional care.

I am so grateful for Dr. Hale and his staff!  He performed knee replacements on both of my knees and I haven't felt this good in years!  Gina is wonderful also.  She called me to tell me that she already had my authorization for an MRI before I made it home from my appointment.  They're very friendly and the wait time is minimal.  I thank them for giving me my life back!

Made a same day appointment because I broke my ankle two nights ago (walls and alcohols don't mix well). I've previously went to urgent care to get a splint. When I got here, Dr. Hale and his staff were all really nice and friendly. Ended up getting the X rays done again and left w a cast.
