I have seen Dr. Pettigrove for years for my vision needs. It is normally a long wait but I was aware of that and continuing to utilize his services. On my last visit, a man in the waiting room caused a bit of a scene over his wait time. When I was called for my appointment, everything was out of step, perhaps just a bad day. I received no information from the doctor regarding my testing or eye health. My Doctor also did not receive a copy of his report. I have requestedd same this date to be mailed to me. Perhaps Dr. Pettigrove's practice has outgrown his capabilities. I am not sure but I seriously doubt I will continue seeing him for my needs.

Pettigrove is probably competent, but he has a horrible bedside manner. He’s impatient, brusque, and rude. I’ve had one cataract removed and will probably have the other removed by him, but I wish I had picked a different doctor. Oh, if you have an appointment with the man, either in his office or for surgery, be prepared to wait and wait and wait. He doesn’t seem to care at all.

Excellent doctor. One of the best ophthalmologists in the country. Very knowledgable and great bedside manner. Definitely worth the wait to see this doctor. Been seeing him for 30 years. Couldn't reccomend him enough. I know other ophthalmologists send their difficult cases to Dr Pettigrove.

I visited for the first time yesterday after reading the previous reviews. I was treated with respect and felt like any wait was well worth my time. Our eyes are a very important part of us. PLEASE do not rush me in and out so that impatient person in the lobby can hurry and get in. There are several tests that need to be ran and several elderly people to help. Thank you for doing such a good job.
