Six months ago Dr. Cole's office charged me $400.00, on the day of my office visit, for a procedure that was covered by my primary insurance (I am over 65 years old) They collected from me, then later accepted payments from my primary insurance as well as my supplemental insurance company for the same procedure. Their policy of double collection is unethical and unacceptable.. For the past 6 months, Surgical Associates has ignored my numerous calls, emails, and a certified letter (sent directly to Dr. Cole) in hopes of resolving this situation. Dr. Cole and his office staff continue to refuse to issue a refund for their overcharge.

I would advise anyone thinking of using Surgical Associates for any reason, to think twice. Five months ago their office billed me $400.00 on the day of my office visit for a procedure that was covered by Medicare. They collected the four hundred dollars from me then later accepted payments from Medicare and my supplemental insurance company for the same procedure. For the past 5 months, Surgical Associates has ignored my numerous calls (to Cindy in the Finance Dept.), emails (to Surgical Associates) and a certified letter (to Dr. Christopher Cole) in hopes of resolving this situation. Surgical Associates has refused to issue me a refund even though Medicare has directed them to provide proof that a refund has been issued. Medicare has notified Surgical Associates that their actions can be considered a form of fraud and as a result they could lose their contract with Medicare.

Dr.Cole is who preformed my RNY and hernia surgery. I have had ‘none’ of the common after bypass issues. I’ve read about others from all over the US on a support web site. Many reported multiple after surgery issues that lasted days and even weeks after their procedure. I am blessed to report zero issue! I am on my way to a healthier life because of this medical intervention! He is my New Hero????????????? Thank you Dr. Cole ??????

Dr. Cole provided an amputation to my right leg. He did an excellent job. I developed an open wound post operatively for which he did an great job healing. I have had a number of wounds treated and he did better than the wound clinics!! He is very friendly, enjoyable and has a great concern for the patient. I would recommend Dr. Cole anytime!! Brent S.

Dr. Cole performed two surgeries on my mom and did a fantastic job. Dr. Cole is one of those rare doctors that is good at what he does AND has good bed side manners. He is a very caring surgeon/doctor. His staff is kind and helpful as well. Thank you Dr. Cole for taking such good care of my mom.

Upon 12/14/2011 D.O. Cole operated upon me doing the Sleeve Surgery (Weight Loss). He is a great man. D.O. Cole is larger than life. He is tall in stature, character, compassion, and care for other people. This excellent man is compassion in action. He lives what he says he can do. In other words, D.O. Cole is above board in all things concerning my healthcare. His word is his bond in everything. He is a pillar of the Tulsa community. You have tried all the rest now try the very best.

Dr. Cole was brought in to do surgery on my wife after finding out she had a ruptured colon. We couldn't have asked for a nicer, more gentle surgeon. Our experience with him was excellent and we would recommend Dr. Cole to anyone who needs this type of treatment. Thank you Dr. Cole. Mike Hancock
