List of Christopher Siemens's Reviews
If I could give 0 stars I would. Let me preface this review by saying that i have used Dr. Siemens many times in the past and have never had an issue with him. He is an excellent ENT and i would highly recommend HIM. However, my wife and 7 week old baby showed up for her 9:45 appointment for my daughters hearing test. When she showed up the receptionist said our appointment was for 8:30. But the appointment card we had received at her last appointment said “9:45”. So not only were we told an incorrect time to show up, the office didn’t even call us to check in when 8:30 rolled around and we didn’t show. They should have called (which they have my wife’s number) and checked in with us to make sure we like weren’t dead. But to add insult to injury when my wife was at the check out desk and my baby, who again is 7 weeks old, started crying and while my wife and the BLONDE receptionist were trying to reschedule the appointment this lady has the audacity to say this to my wife in a condescending and very rude tone “you should probably tend to your crying baby”. Which is so disrespectful and rude. So again I’d like to say I have nothing against Dr. Siemens himself but just about everything against the staff there at 71st and Yale. They were incredibly rude and disrespectful to my wife and of our time. So Dr. Siemens if you read this please talk with the other doctors there about hiring some more personable and respectful staff members.
He said "This is probably bullsh*t, but maybe this is your problem." Then ordered an x-ray for that specific diagnosis, which was in fact BS. Never called me to talk to me about the x-rays. He had a very rude lady call me to tell me nothing is wrong with me, then hung up on me when i started to ask a question. I am obviously still dealing with pain, nothing was ever taken care of. I called every week for two months after that before the same lady finally called me back to tell me he is too busy to help me and that i should go somewhere else. Thanks for the help... not. Very unprofessional.
He put tubes in my daughters ears and removed her adenoids. And he did an AMAZING JOB
Several yrs ago I had surgery done by Dr seman I was coded 2 times while in recovery they had put cotton in my nose to absorb the blood it went into my lungs and I almost drown when I finally woke up I ask them why I was hoarse they said that I had coded. 2 times and the blood had backed up in lungs It was suppose to b out patient. Surgery I had to stay over in hospital. Dr seman also informed me he had taken out more than we discussed. Also I was on blood thinner I ask if I was suppose to. Hold the meds they said no which they alwAys have you not take. Then they gave me pills before I went into surgery I ask what it was one was blood thinner and the other a antibiotic I told them I d already taken mine that morning. They said standered procedure. I said again I had already taken mine they said I had to take it. After I got out I wind up with pneumonia. 3 times upper respitory infection then sinus infection I ve had fir three yrs because it want drain went to local dr because is so bad he took MRI and found out dr seman had broken my nose during surgery and there was a bone over the erea where it drains The infection is in my cheek and gotten in my teeth and I ve lost 4 teeth because of it . When the local dr ordered the medical papers. We found out dr seman not only had broken my nose but had lied on the report. When ask on his part of complication he wrote none. Although I had coded And almost bled to death he said was heart related fir reason I stayed in hospital. Which wasn’t truth at all
I was referred to Dr. Siemens by my endocrinologist and he was a wonderful choice. He is very personable, kind, funny and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions in terms that the average person could understand and was very thorough and informative. His staff is great, especially his PA. I would definitely recommend him to close family and friends should they ever need to see an ENT.
Dr. Siemens did half of a thyroid extomy for me in 2015. He has been fantastic on making sure my second half is functioning properly with my yearly checkups . Highly recommend.
Love Dr. Siemens!! Takes great care of my daughter every time she has surgery on her airway and in the office!! Highly recommend for any needs for ear, nose and throat!!
Dr.Siemens diagnosed my thyroid cancer and then removed my thyroid. He was very precise as alot can go wrong, his follow-up care was wonderful as well. He explained and did as he said every step of the way. I feel blessed to have had him as my Doctor.
Dr. Siemens has handled several issues for my family. He treated me as if we were friends the first time we met. All of his treatments have been spot on, and he even went out of his way to try to save me money on my surgery by working with hospitals that are more affordable for patients. He can be a bit opinionated, but I prefer for someone to just tell it like it is. He seems to be a great person and has been an excellent doctor.
My endocrinologist sent me to this man on October 4, 2016 to recommend having a portion of my thyroid removed because it had a growth on it. It had grown since first detected 2 years earlier. There is a history of thyroid problems in my family, and multiple removals! I had met my OOP and wanted it out, because I know eventually it's going to have to come out anyway. The day of my appointment, I wore a Trump tee shirt. From the moment I walked in the office there were stares and smirks from the staff. There were probably 10-15 employees in there. When the nurse took me back to get my vitals, they all started laughing. I assume the first person that came in the room was an intern, she wasn't a nurse, maybe a PA. She made little smirks and comments to me about my political choice, and basically told me I was stupid. When she went out, they all started laughing again. Then Siemens came in. He didn't just make little smirks or comments he told me I was a F***ing Idiot! He threw the F bomb around multiple times and included the GD word which I hate more than anything. Then he told me he wasn't taking out my thyroid just because it had a growth or because I had met my OOP. That's called "Insurance Fraud". When we walked out, the entire staff broke out in loud laughter and he continued to call me an F***ing Idiot. He told me it wouldn't matter because Hillary had it in the bag.Well, I have news for him. If I were dying of Thyroid Cancer and he was the last surgeon on earth, he wouldn't touch me! I've wished a billion times I had this recorded!!!! He is the absolute worst doctor I have ever seen! I wouldn't recommend him to my ex husband!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
