This man is politically motivated. His service is moderate at best and if he makes it in Oklahoma I'd be surprised due to the way he conducts his business.

Dr Monks and all of the office has been great and the best thing ever is he is familiar with my RA and all the skin problems that comes with it.CREST sucks but he answered all my questions and concerns Thank you for listening to this little old lady.

He couldn't wait to get out of the room (under 5 mins). Told me what the skin issue "might" be. Asked me what I wanted to do w/o giving me enough info to make an informed decision. He did not make a suggestion, just said you could do A, B or C. I had no idea so chose "none".

I work in a hospital and I train staff (including physicians) on how to listen to the needs of their patients. I regretted hearing that Dr. Monks failed to do so for my family member. In spite of all the paperwork filled out before the visit, it was clear that he had not reviewed any of it. He had the patient's needs "all figured out" before even assessing the patient and asking what interventions had already been attempted. Everybody has a bad day. I get it. So, I want to cut him some slack. There's no shame in saying, "I'm sorry, I need some additional time to familiarize myself with your case and perhaps you can help me accomplish that." In the case of my family member, the only thing he left with was $50 dollars less in his pocket and little, to no direction moving forward. Very, very unfortunate. I'm hopeful other patients don't have a similar experience. Thanks for considering my feedback.
