I was taken early doctor was very professional had a great sense of humor explained things well and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely ridiculous Dr., My elderly handicapped mother went in to see this “Dr.” for her first appointment. His office has already had her fill out all the necessary paperwork needed for the first visit, she’s been in pain and on waiting list for over a year now so we thought she finally would be able to get some sort of relief only to have him tell her NO once she makes it all the way to his office, he’s absolutely rude, said he never agreed to the appointment (remember his office had already been in contact with her) and blamed her personal Dr stating my elderly moms, female Dr. bullied him into making an appointment that he refused to see her at. Never mind the fact that someone took off work to help get her out of bed and get her into the vehicle and transport her to the office, but then to be so blatantly disrespectful and rude while talking down about a fellow Dr who isn’t even present to be able to defend herself. If you have a choice to go somewhere else, I would do anything in your power to do so.

I have been seeing Dr Halsell for years now and I always get the best treatments from him. Great & friendly staff also.

I went to him about 7 years ago. He had been giving me injections in my lower back. The last time I went, he hit something wrong and immediately left me on the table with the nurse, went into his office and closed the door. I had to have help even getting off the table and when I did, I couldn’t walk. For about 3 mos I lay in bed because I couldn’t move from my hips down. Finally, I was able to move, but had to use a wheelchair for another 3 mos before I was able to use a cane. This is while he was practicing in Tulsa but would come to Bartlesville. And now he has an office in Bartlesville!! I can only pray he is better now.

I would give no stars if possible. Only wants to give out pain meds. Blew off any other intervention I would mention. I tried to wean myself then he wanted to know why I had more pain pills left than I should have (they count pills each visit). I told him why, he got mad and suspicious, I got mad and indignant, he told me to leave. He doesn't want you to have any input into your care. I have weaned off pain meds and muscle relaxers and am using alternative treatments that don't involve narcotics. If you like a monthly prescription with no other intervention, he's your man! If you want to have a partnership with your physician, go elsewhere.

Dr.Halsell does a super job. He has helped me with my back pain and I would recommend him to anyone.

I visited Dr. Halsell today. This is the first doctor I've visited in my 4 year quest to find out what's wrong with my hip that named the nerve, and the actual name of the problem I've been suffering from. He was professional, throughout the appointment, and listened to everything I said, and let me ask questions without me feeling like I was rushed. For 4 and half years I've been trying to get help from 7 different providers in different cities, and he's the first one to actually start treating me for what I have always thought the issue was. Most doctors I have seen don't even know about the nerve that's causing this horrible issue. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews here, but I think this guy is the guy to go to for nerve issues. Thanks you Dr. Halsell, I look forward to following up with you.
