John Laurent's Online Review Report Card

John Laurent was most unprofessional and lazy. After receiving a copy of my medical notes by Laurent, I discovered multiple contradictions and just plain oversights on this doctor’s part. Am I working? Or unemployed? You wouldn’t ever know because Laurent stated BOTH on the SAME note. Am I financially stable? Or not? Again, you wouldn’t know because Laurent stated BOTH on the SAME note. Do I have a support system in place? Or not? You wouldn’t know because Laurent stated BOTH on the SAME note. In a total of 6 appointments, Laurent changed diagnoses on EVERY note. What’s the problem Laurent? Can’t make up your mind? On 2 notes, Laurent stated that he didn’t have time to assess certain aspects of my ‘diagnoses’ because he didn’t have time. But he shorted my appointment time by 10 minutes on THREE occasions! During the last appointment I had with Laurent, I confronted this most lazy doctor with the discrepancies I had discovered. I actually RECORDED this session. After requesting my records for this final appointment, I discovered Laurent had written that I had monopolized the entire session and hadn’t given him a chance to speak. However, listening to the recording, I note my demeanor as calm, cool and collected, albeit definitely assertive. I actually paused several times during the appointment to give him a chance to explain himself. But all he said, several times, was ‘you’re obviously not happy with me’. And then Silence whilst he sat squirming in his chair. He said nothing more, so I continued to confront this man, who seemingly had NO ability to own his own mistakes. Then he downgraded my level of intelligence and insight to marginal!!!! Really John? Are you so insecure that you have to minimize others to feel ‘good’ about yourself?! How pathetic John! Don’t know why you became a psychiatrist John, but obviously for the wrong reasons! Help save the already struggling world of mental health services John! Quit now and find another job!!
