John M Carment's Online Review Report Card

I worked as a home health nurse from 2016 to 2017. I liked the patient part very much but the paperwork was just nuts. Furthermore, the doctor's offices often complicated matters. But it was always a pleasure admitting one of Dr. Carment's patients to home health - as his office was well organized and their patient information was thorough and detailed. That was a huge help.

I get a great deal of comfort knowing Dr. Carment is my doctor. My parents went from specialist to specialist until my mother finally found a geriatric doctor near the end of her life. I resolved then when I reached 65 I would have a geriatric specialist as my primary care doctor. Dr. Carment has always treated me with respect and fully answered all my questions. When the time came he referred me to a specialist (I have bladder cancer) but Dr. Carment has kept appraised of my treatment and I have consulted with him about my treatment. I am so thankful to have him as my doctor.

He is so smart and confident

We have been with Dr. Carment less than a year. We loved his caring attitude and in depth attention from the first visit. He's the best !

He is caring, really LISTENS to you, a great physician!

Dr. Carment was wonderful with my father in law. The experience was great from the front desk to the nurse to the student physician and finally Dr Carment himself. The exam was thorough and he took the time to answer all of our questions. Another thing I liked is that he was not willing to give a diagnosis until he had time to review all of the information.

Thoughtful, up-to-date care. Doc takes the time to listen then offer best options for specific health issues. I have been a patient for almost a decade.

He talks to people very very disrespectful.

The office staff in scheduling an appointment need to take a course in customer relations...rude and long call back time. We were told in trying to schedule an appt. for my mother who has altzheimer's that "if I had known you were not a new patient, I would have called you back sooner". This is after we called back following a two-day wait. We were questioned when asked to speak to the doctor as to why we wished to speak to him and we feel certain that our message was not transmitted to him. Dr. Carment is a fine, young doctor but his staff may drive away patients. We will be looking for a new doctor as a result of this poor service.

It is very difficult to get in and see Dr. Carment. My mother is very dissapointed when she has to see a PA that knows nothing about her.
