Newborn Specialists provided care for my identical twin infants in the NICU (apparently, because I certainly didn't directly engage them, but I received bills from them). They called and sent bills amounting to tens of thousands of dollars for only ONE of our infants claiming that baby was uninsured while the other was insured. I spoke with their billing department and our insurance company numerous times and provided our policy information to Newborn Specialists at least twice. You would think it would be obvious to a medical provider there might be an insurance error when their bills for one identical twin are being paid while the bills for the other are supposedly being denied. Newborn Specialists decided to sell the debt and I was sued by the purchaser for nearly $50,000. We've since discovered our insurance company doesn't even seem to have received claims from Newborn Specialists in an amount even close to what they claimed is owed. Having a baby in the NICU is stressful enough without having to fear being needlessly sued by your sick infant's medical provider for bills that should have been managed.

My wife and I had our beautiful daughter here. We asked about leaving at the time they quoted us and the pediatricians immediately threatened us with DHS. The swaddles they provide are too small and they expect us to make it work with bad supplies. My wife tried to take a walk around with our daughter and a nurse runs at her intensely informing her that she is not allowed to walk around with a baby. It's our daughter, not just a baby. If you read this before you decide where to go to deliver your beautiful child, do not come here. I hear they call this place "KillCrest" and they love to threaten you with DHS. There is much worse information I'm not sharing due to being so frustrated. Remember... these people work for you and this is your child, not theirs.
