List of Peter Okwausaba's Reviews
Dr. Okwuasaba & his staff are very nice & professional,a year later I had to return for more treatment. This time around they did an upgrade on their staff. All of them have the nicest, most fun loving personality. And Dr.Okwuasaba was very nice as well and was friendly, too, business is obviously doing better than the last time I was here. Keep up the great job....
Today, they took TOTALLY DROPPED from 4 to 1. My mom was to have a virtual appt to get lab result & course of treatment Dr N scheduled for 12:15. 12.35 i called office. NOT ON SCHEDULE! Scheduled for 1:15. Went to online waiting room for 40 mins! Dr NEVER showed up. made 3 calls with msgs left. NOBODY called my mom or me back . Wow. They have mom PROBLEM. Ridiculous. NO EXCUSE. I WILL BE DIRECTING A LETTER TO TOP CEO, for what it ia worth! That was 2 hours of our time! I took my mom here last week. As many have said, the waiting room is ridiculously SMALL. It was packed upon out arrival. We made the beat of it. Dr. O wasn't in that day. Ngozi Okolonwamu was. I have to say, I am critical of Dr's... I have had horrible, uncalled for experiences over the Years & this past year plus. I wonder why many people are even in healthcare. As they can be so rude, dismissing, unhelpful, run you ragid testing stuff, it all worsened with pandemic, eye roll. On tests, I understand tests can certainly be needed. They just cannot seem to streamline better for us. Why?! But, I do want to acknowledge I was SO IMPRESSED with Ngozi during my mom's appointment. Shw gave most clear, detailed information about reviewing mom's records, and what she needed to going forward, she is amazing. Hopefully, the follow-up this week will be just as good. Ty Dr Ngozi O. Tamara A. For Eugenia T. Keep up the good works you do.
Dr. O and his PA are great!! They both treated my father with respect and they both were very personable! Highly recommend!
I owe my life to Dr O. Twice. I will go straight to him if I have a serious infection. I’m an RN for 52 years and have worked with many doctors but this one knows his job. He and his office have been more than accommodating to see I got the care I needed…..I appreciate him more than I can explain.
I recently moved to Tulsa and had an infection in my leg. Dr. Okwusaba does have an accent that takes a little effort to understand. I have waited in his office. I continue to go back. Here’s why. I have never been rushed and questions were always answered. Follow up care and hospital visits were incredible. Dr. Okwuasaba and his staff were friendly and thorough. Dr. O would spend as much time with me as needed. (Including hospital visits) I like a Dr. That takes time with his patients and is extremely knowledgeable in his field. It seems to me that a lot of the doctors offices are more concerned about the number of patients they can run through per day. Personally, I will wait for the services Dr. O and his staff provide. I rate him a 5.
Dr. Okwausabi was good medically. Got rid of my terrible infection. Staff was confused, new in some cases, communication was terrible, After treatment I went for post treatment appointment and they said I neededCT first so wouldn’t see me. Said someone would call me to set up CT. They did but scheduled me for 2.5 mos later-first available?? Dr office called me the next mo n said I was supposed to have CT by now n I explained. They said they would take care of it n get me in sooner. Said that was unacceptable. Nothing ever happened even after I called about 8 times after that. No one carried through. Terrible patient follow up! Plus Dr told me after I asked a medical question that HE was the Dr!! Not me!
I wouldn’t recommend to anyone! I was totally dismissed, the visit lasted less than 5 minutes, after waiting a month for a virtual appointment that I waited on hold for over 45 minutes! I won’t be paying for that visit if they bill me! I give a zero rating!
Lazy and arrogant.
Appointment was at 10:00 am virtual at 12:20 the doctor still had not joined the visit and this was after numerous phone calls very poor service never got to speak to the doctor for the visit
My rating is based on professionalism. I don't doubt he could be a great doctor but he basically said my doctor was incompetent and I was wasting his time. I was left to feel criticized and almost embarrassed for doing nothing wrong. Even nodding my head in understanding annoyed him. It was very off-putting and while I had some questions I wasn't willing to ask. I am not going to rate him a 1 based on that because it doesn't reflect his ability as a doctor just his manor of how he treated me. There were tons of people waiting when I left but only 2 when I arrived. I am only mentioning because so many reviews made note of it. It may be very possible he is seeing too many patients and another doctor is needed. I saw Dr. Stephan Hambaz for my MRSA last year though and there wasn't any wait so maybe he needs to defer patients. I thought the rest of the staff was very pleasant.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
