Route 66 Dental Implants's Online Review Report Card

I was referred to Dr. Wong at Route 66 Dental Implants for a gum graft, and I truly couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. This review honestly doesn’t do justice to how exceptional the entire team was.<br><br>Dr. Wong and his staff far exceeded my expectations. Both Dr. Wong and Shirley met me in the middle of what felt like a very stressful situation with genuine kindness and compassion. Throughout the entire procedure, Dr. Wong communicated clearly, explaining each step and letting me know how much time remained, which made a world of difference in easing my anxiety.<br><br>If you’re looking for a periodontist, don’t waste your time searching elsewhere—Dr. Wong is the one to see. I’ll be recommending him to everyone I know!

So thankful to have been referred to Dr Wong! I never felt rushed through any appointment, took the time to answer all questions and go over the whole procedure. The procedure itself went GREAT and I felt like I was in the best hands for what I needed done! Highly recommend.

Dr. Saxon was absolutely the best! I had to have a tooth extracted. I have very high anxiety and having any type of dental work done makes me extremely nervous. Dr. Saxon was very kind and compassionate and walked me through every step while he was doing the procedure. I could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend him to anyone having dental work done.

Well I met David aboot Twelve years ago, 7 er 8 years after getting a implant from Larry Lander. My abutment had come loose and the cap had to be ground off and abutment tightened. From being loose, it had eroded my gum around it. I remember that i was not having fun during all this. David made me feel like a friend, and i really enjoyed my time, even if it was in Tulsa. I went to his new facility yesterday, and it is very nice. I am only writing this because, David treated me exactly the same as years previous. This treatment of people is uncommon nowadays. Just to say, he did a great job back then and is still a great person in my eyes. Thank you sir!

As someone who needed extensive work done, I was referred to Dr. Wong & now I know why. He is the best. I came in resigned to whatever, just going to get through it. Walking in the first time & meeting Theresa, who was so helpful & fun throughout. Dr. Wong with his expertise, precision & compassion I knew immediately that I was in good hands. Dr. Wong went way above & beyond for me, a doctor who really cares! & he was so precise, there was literally no pain or recovery time. Jennifer was so welcoming & let me say, she kept me entertained & even laughing during the surgery, (& I had opted out of the surgery meds) so appreciated that!! Wish I could give more than 5 stars as Dr. Wong & his entire team deserve it.

Dr Wong is the best! Highly intelligent, skilled and has an incredible chair side manner. He's meticulous in his work. The staff is also very friendly and helpful! I can't recommend them enough!

Due to genetics and age, I have had several gum grafts over the years. Though I am a decade older than the last procedure, there was minimal discomfort. It is obvious why Dr. Wong stands out above highly regarded periodontists in other major cities. He is extremely skilled and passionate about his craft.

Dr Wong is not only friendly but great at what he does! My sister works in the industry & says he is the best in his field. My experience was great! Staff was great too!

Route 66 Dental Implants experience and disappointment:<br><br>I was referred to Route 66 by my regular Dental office for an implant procedure which they cannot do. This is my second implant threw my regular Dentist. My first implant however was done at a different implant facility, and I had the exact same procedure as with Route 66 but the difference between Route 66 and the other facility is Route 66 spreads it out into two different procedures whereas the other office did it in one fail swoop and it costs a lot less.<br><br>But that wasn’t the worst part of it; Route 66 also filed with my Dental insurance and filed it so that I received a check for THEIR portion of the claim. I have NEVER had it filed that way, EVER and I have been with the same Dental Insurance plan for the past 15+ years.<br><br>So, with that said, I thought that Route 66 had overcharged me, and I was receiving a refund check. I cashed it but held onto the cash and it was a good thing I did. About 2 weeks went by and I received a phone call that I still had a balance on my account of $372. I was told by Route 66 at the time of my initial office visit that my total cost was $1277 which I THOUGHT I paid in full. After receiving the call, I then started looking at all the receipts both from Delta Dental and Route 66. Delta Dental’s receipts were saying $1606 which didn’t add up to what Route 66 was saying of $1649.<br><br>I then noticed there was also a charge of $43 on the bill from Route 66 that was never billed to insurance. This is where I started to see some questionable things. Why….would you one; have the insurance company send the portion that was supposed to be paid to you to me??? and two why would you not submit the $43 charge to insurance whether you thought they would pay it or not? This procedure was NOT an emergency therefore I have now learned do your due diligence on cost and ethics before going to any Dental office and basically walking in blind.<br><br>With all this in mind don’t get me wrong with this review, the Doctor’s are extremely intelligent and also very nice it’s just their billing practices** are what is in question.<br><br>**Open up a checking account and cash your own checks don’t ask the patients to do it for you.
