List of Saint Francis Health System's Reviews
This place is breaking so many laws! They have set up other doctors for failure so that the lady could be promoted. Truth! Patients are dying due to the benzo rules! Never heard of the taper clinic at laureate until a year ago and I was a patient for over 5 years
Update: Zero stars. The place should be shut down. I (and many others) have almost died from Laureate's lack of help with benzo tapering. Would not be shocked if a patient HAS died, but they don't seem to care. It was my idea to taper down and even then they refused to give tapering guidelines or help, they just cut off my prescription. The "psychiatrist" I was assigned (McClanahan) refused to speak to, email or meet with me to discuss how to taper (again, if improperly done it can be deadly). I was never able to even introduce myself to her. During withdrawal, I had seizures and am struggling to think even after 6 months. They ruin lives here.
If could give a zero rating I would. NEVER involve yourself with Dr. Geoffrey Benjamin Hauger, MD ever. Diagnoses and treats people with sedative medications for psychosis/ schizophrenia like the conditions and meds are hot cakes. Every time he tried to talk to me at Laureate psychiatric clinic he would try to be alone with me in MY room until accommodations were made. Then proceeded to get visibility red hot angry when I refused to speak with him. Hauger would tell my family they could not speak to me isolating them from my treatment and care plan. Geoffrey threatened them saying to keep me in the hospital for 30+ days and I was forced to stay there for an extra week so I could speak to a female clinical psychiatrist. Overall this man has anger issues and needs some of the meds he forces onto people. DONT REMEMBER who the nurse practitioner was but 4+ people that were working HELD ME DOWN AND GAVE ME BOOTY JUICE FOR CHANTING A MANTRA. I COULDNT FEEL OR MOVE MY BODY AND SLEPT FOR HOURS. THEY WOULDNT LET ME OUTSIDE FOR 5 DAYS!!!! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN.
In the end of October my wife was put in Laureate. My wife who suffers from oxygen issues and has to sleep with a machine they refuse to let her use the machine to breathe. Then on top of that her Psy doc was never informed she was there. they we're supposed to inform him BUT NEVER DID. She almost lost him as her doc cause of them. Then on top of that they kept her there for almost six weeks. By the time she came home on Thanksgiving she was still sick. They did not help her AT ALL. They just wanted her insurance. Fast forward to this week. She is sick once again. Same issues, as that time. This time we found out by her doc that he was never informed she was there. Luckly he was still going to see her as a client. But she we found out he thinks this time her issues was cause she was late to take her shot called, invega. If they had done their damn jobs she would of gotten her shot in time. Then tonight she been sick all week and even though she now has the shot she still was acting up. Then just a few hours ago she not only hit me in the eye but threw my mom on the concentrate floor of our apartment. My mom had to be rush to the hospital while she is arrested. NOW OF THIS WOULD OF HAPPEN IF THEY DID THEIR DAMN JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! NEVER TAKE YOUR LOVE ONES THERE, THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN THEY JUST WANT THE INSURANCE.
Horrible service have been calling to schedule an appointment for a week now and still nothing. Scheduling lady named Yolanda has never answered the phone when I called always to voicemail. Just an overall horrible experience. Highly recommend going somewhere else
The hospital/clinic is safe, updated, clean, and easy to find. The professionals are educated, thorough, compassionate, friendly and have a true willingness to help others! Covid-19 precautions are in place! Highly recommended for you, loved ones, friends and family who need mental health care, whether moderate or emergency!
I just went by there this afternoon to drop off clothes for someone and it was very disappointing experience. The people at the window ignored me and I have to wait for them to feel like talking to me. They were ride, unhelpful and, would not or could not reply any information about the process or what their procedures might be. I can only hope that the treatment in their institution isn't reflected by their treatment of family members who have relatives in there. An F- in customer relations. You shouldn't have people like that out there dealing with the public.
How does one begin to rate a mental hospital? This place literally saved my life. Every single person from staff to doctors and everyone in between was wonderful. These people are doing mental health care right. If they don't care then they're doing a hell of a job pretending.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
