I haven’t even given birth yet but I love their office so much. I transfer OB’s at 20 weeks since my insurance changed and the office was very quick to get me in. They made sure they got all of my previous records and my first appointment Dr. Lakin sat down and listened to everything I had concerns about and asked many questions to past pregnancy/ periods so she got her own understanding of me from me not just from the records. She is very thorough and takes time with each patient. Every growth scan so far has been amazing and I don’t feel like they’re trying to rip my skin open with pushing, they are very gentle and informative on how baby is. The nurses are very quick to calling back after I’ve left a message and all so sweet. The women that does lab work is FANTASTIC I haven’t felt the needle go in and she’s so gentle. I just love all of them and can’t wait to continue my experience these next few weeks up until birth!

Dr. Lakin is PHENOMINAL. She just delivered our first son on February 9th, 2021. We had an incredible experience and my hope is to have her deliver all of our babies! I could go on and on about the care Dr. Lakin provides. Her knowledge, care, transparency and encouragement throughout our experience was top notch and exceeded any and all expectations. Thank you Dr. Lakin and the Women's Health Group Team!

I love Dr Lakin, she is such a calming presence, I never feel rushed with her, and I highly recommend her to everyone!

When my sister had her baby with this doctor they accepted her under private insurance and Medicaid as a backup. Now that she needs to have a follow up the doctor is refusing to see her. As mentioned above, my sister has both private and medicaid. For whatever reason the doctor won't see her at all because she is also a Medicaid recipient. The doctor could easily see her under her private insurance as she has done previously. So, I do not understand the refusal. The action of this doctor's office to not see my sister despite having both insurance types is diabolical, does a huge disservice to society as whole, and furthers health disparities among people of color. This shall be investigated to make sure it was properly handled.

I love Dr lakin, she is an amazing Dr. She made sure me and my baby were safe! I recommend her to everyone looking for an ob/gyn

Dr Lakin is an amazing rock star who was perfection during my C section, even while I was vomiting on the operating table. She never missed a beat, was reassuring, & handled my getting sick on the table with total confidence. I'm still amazed how well she & her staff managed my procedure & my sickness. She was also an outstanding OB during my prenatal care who always made real eye contact & actively listened to my concerns. I was 100% satisfied with my experience from A to Z with her.

Dr. Lakin is very laid back and very knowledgeable at the same time. As a first time mom, I was nervous about not knowing my OB well, but she takes time to answer all of my questions. My fiance also really likes her approach to my care and we are glad that we chose her as my OB.

This is my 3rd C section. First was 13 years ago and traumatic emergency. 2nd was 13 months ago and the doctor I had we were not happy with on so many different levels, they “forgot” to schedule my c section and from visit to visit they even forgot I was supposed to be a c section and our visits never lasted more than 10 minutes. Even after the c section(non emergency) they were in such a rush the stitches were so uneven and all over the place. We decided to go with Dr Lakin with a recommendation from a friend. I’m 2 weeks postpartum and had an amazing experience! Our new addition decided to come into the world early and Dr Lakin was able to answer all of our questions and put our mind at ease. She also has an amazing nurse- which from past experience seems hard to come by. The stitches are even and not all over the place. Thank you thank you thank you Dr Lakin for an amazing experience with this pregnancy.
