List of Ou Health Er And Urgent Care's Reviews
The care I received at this location was exceptional. All staff were compassionate and dedicated to my healthcare needs. I appreciate how kind and reassuring the doctors and nurses were and how they took additional time to ease my anxiety. Thank you so much for serving our community with excellence!
Staff was nice, facility was clean and well laid out. Typical health care though. We got there at 8:05pm and walked out at 11:45 without seeing a DR or PA. Kiddo got tested for strep, flu and COVID. I finally asked if they were negative and got a yes to that so we left. An elderly gentleman had walked in also during that time with what seemed as minor issues and was told a 2 hour wait to be seen. Sad state of affairs. Awesome facility and awesome nurses but the systems fails them and us. We were a simple case and they couldn’t prioritize the simple ones in order to get us in and out. We were put in line with the catastrophic cases. An OU money grab but they won’t staff the place. Quit putting these places in if you are not going to staff them!!! Really sad for the customer and the staff!!! We felt bad for the girls working there but we were not going to stay either. We read the 5 hour wait reviews while we were in there and realized it’s an ongoing problem so we had to leave! We won’t be back. Good job on the girls working though! They were very apologetic and sincere. Their hands are tied.
Waited an hour plus to have a doctor really not care about what I was telling him. He wasn’t helpful and I was very upset with his attitude I will never come back here
Excellent employees and very helpful
The best place I've ever been! So clean, respectful and what a great experience!
Very helpful, and being seen was immediate
Very professional and friendly staff throughout my whole visit, had my blood taken in the ER side and it was the most painless draw I’ve ever had. I was seen almost immediately after coming in, will try to avoid coming back (lol) but 10/10.
Friendly and professional staff who took excellent care of my issue. I was seen and treated quickly without feeling like a number
My daughter tested positive for the flu, but we continually had trouble breaking her fever, and her knee swelled up so large she couldn't walk and it was extremely painful. We rushed her here and she saw Dr. Anderson. He was rude and overall pretty dismissive of the severity of my child's knee. She tested positive for strep and from there he had my six year old waiting around in pain with a fever from 12 am until 4 am. When he looked at the rads he saw she had fluid in her knee. He gave her meds for the strep and told us to go home for a couple days then check in with her regular pediatrician to test her for rheumatic fever. Obviously, when my daughter's knee is so swollen she can't walk, we're not going to wait around to test for rheumatic fever. Long story short, we end up at Children's and my daughter's invasive strep had caused septic arthritis in her knee. She was rushed into surgery and put on IV meds for two days. Every physician we spoke to after Dr. Anderson was aware of an invasive form of strep A making the rounds this season, and it had been fatal for children. Not only that, they seemed dumbfounded and even annoyed that anyone would suggest rheumatic fever with her symptoms. Dr. Anderson's negligence could have had dire consequences for my child if we had not ignored his advice. No one I've contacted at OU really seems concerned about my experience, but I think they might feel differently had that been their child.
Waited a long time for a doctor to only to see one for less than two minutes. I had a bad reaction from the medication prescribed that caused my heart to flip out. I would recommend going to Family First Urgent Care down the road. I've always had better luck with doctors there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
