Not a good choice for routine eye check. And no myopia treatment can be provided.
I took my son to this place based on good reviews here. First of all, it took the front desk more than 30 mins to figure out my insurance coverage after I talked to the VSP service line.
The check was just a routine check for vision, back of the eye image, color blindness test. And the charge is $402. After finding out my son is nearsighted, the doctor simply referred us to another doctor in a different optometry, without even discussing the options or need for any treatment.
We went to the referred optometry today, and was told the previous check result cannot be used even though it's within 2 weeks. Another check, which insurance refuse to cover. More items were checked, and the charge is $179.
Why did I even go to Harvard Eye, got robbed $400 and thrown to another place to go over everything again? ? I will never go back. You better not go for the first time.
