Great place with welcoming staff. They were Genuinely kind and I did not wait long for my appointment.
They charge $100 cancellation/no-show fee. Don’t get sick before your appointment! You’ll try and call to cancel but nobody answers. Then once you do get someone to FINALLY answer, they STILL charge you $100 even though it’s their fault for not answering. Do better. They lost me as a patient. 0/5 stars if i could.

Using LifeStance made my mental health worse. They completely removed my ability to contact my psychiatrist in any way which was extremely unsafe. They also will not stop billing me for appointments I already paid for. LifeStance is truly a nightmare and it’s no wonder they have multiple class action lawsuits against them.
My first time doing therapy and Rachael made me feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend
Your company is a absolutely horrible and unprofessional company I had one counseling session with therapist Emma Tecca and she tried to refer me to a IOP which I do not have the time or finances to do. I called to try to make a appointment with a different therapist because I felt judged and upset by said therapist and was told I cannot schedule any further appointments without completing the therapist who I did not feel comfortable with suggestions. On top of this the person who answers the phone and schedules appointments is incredibly unprofessional and had me on hold for ten minutes, finally answered again and forgot she had me on hold and I had to keep repeating my information. I will not recommend this company for its unprofessional conduct.
I just waited on my phone for over 2 hours for a no show. I had to wait 3 weeks to be stood up. I looked up the review of the provider and there was a complaint about her not showing up on time. This was an urgent matter for me as my PC was depending on the results of this meeting to assist in his plan. I took screenshots throughout the wait…. I am disgusted.
I haven't taken my child to get seen in almost 6 months and they still haven't changed my insurance. I keep calling to fix it and to get a statement so i can give it to my insurance so they can pay it but nothing. Billing doesn't even know anything like why are do you even exist if you can't do your job.
I have been a patient for almost 2 years with Lifestance. They have helped me with issues I have dealt with. Now that I have to dispute fraudulent charges appearing on my credit card statement they tell me that they do not have a card on file. They charged me as recently as August 16th without my permission or consent. I have called to dispute these charges and they don’t know what I am referring to. Patient beware.
Lifestance continues to prove that they have no conscious when it comes to billing their patients extra fees and for prices that were never agreed upon. I am truly appalled with how slow they are to answer the phones, or hire anyone who can expeditiously resolve completely reasonable billing concerns that shouldn't take more than 1 interaction. I've been told 3 times now that my concerns have "been escalated to corporate" (lol sounds soooo super serious), but I still have not been able to speak to anyone with authority who can explain why they felt it was necessary to hide their price increases from me after taking over my therapists office, and waiting for me to attend 3 sessions before then drafting over 1K from my checking account before I found out. I had no chance to say no I don't want to pay 307 dollars a session when last week it was 109 dollars. The only thing that changed was Lifestance stepping out of the darkness of their money cave to price gouge and drain my funds like the vampires they are. By the way, I was told repeatedly that "nothing would change once we become Lifestance." This company ia great for causing mental health issues I suppose. Maybe that's the long play they have so I can go find help and inadvertently end up in their awful network again. Their escalations team is a joke if they even exist, and so is this company. Really looking forward to the copy pasted response on this review asking for a direct message.
I would not recommend this place at all. If I could give negative stars, I would. I placed my child on the waitlist here and got a call when they had an opening. I explained that my child would not be able to keep an appointment ongoing at 1 pm on a Friday because school is starting soon. She lied to me and told me it would likely be possible to switch times once we had our intake appointment. After 2 sessions, we are unable to continue due to this. And second of all, she dropped the ball and scheduled him with a psychiatrist that doesn't even see children and we weren't even aware of it until trying to sign on for the virtual appointment. Find a different office. Don't waste your time.

Beyond disappointed with my experience with Lifestance. I was being billed incorrectly and have now been fighting to get my money back since April. Every time I call, I get the run around and can't get updates to save my life even though I request them. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
The local therapists and people in the local office are wonderful and helpful. The big corporation is just that, and the policies and decisions are not patient-focused. The phone system is awful, and if you try to reach someone in person, it hangs up on you. They tell you to call back during business hours, but they don't tell you when those are. I've mailed in my credit card Flex Benefits account number because I can't reach the billing department, and they don't process the information. Billing department is closed Monday at 3 pm when I tried to call- when are they open??? Cancellation policies are set up to make money and not considerate of patients who are long-time clients and might have emergencies or get sick. The therapists that our family have used are wonderful; unfortunately, we have to put up with the prickly and unfriendly systems to get to the caring therapists.
I am absolutely in shock. I had a provider here, saw me only 4 times, I don’t count the first session as it’s usually introduction. Provider spoke about himself, did not dive deep into issues at all. I felt minimized most of the time. I would mention something and the provider would say “ok I thought it was a bigger fight” and moves on. Today he cut me off less than an hour to tell me he felt like we hit a wall and would refer me out, he wasn’t trauma specialized. Truly hurtful and I’m disgusted with my treatment. Provider has no patience and didn’t even try, he was too busy talking about himself and looking off into space to focus on me as a patient. So sad. I’m not shocked at the low reviews.
Their accounting dept. will bill you and double bill you. Your on draft and have to be on draft. And they will tell you you dont pay and sent us home. With LifeStance, my daughter has had to relive, re hash, every traumatic experience every time she has a new provider. She has had her THIRD therapist change in less than a 12 month period. It speaks volumes about LifeStance's business model and management,that it cannot keep compassionate staff! Or compassionate staff can't stay. Lifestance has a high turnover rate! I have had to watch my daughter cry over three different providers changing /leaving on her and all of them did it differently!! First the administration cancels all the appointments and don't inform the patient, I got a text message that the appointment in two weeks cancelled, and during her therapy session, her therapist informed her that it would be her last appointment. My teenage daughter has been repeatedly triggered and re-traumatized over her therapists leaving! The are supposed to be helping patients heal but instead my daughter has had to endure feelings of abandonment over and over again. Once she builds a rapport and starts to trust her provider, they leave! Then I have to call the admin staff and they are cold, dismissive and heartless.Like machines.. on to the next one! I hate that my Sharp insurance doesn't allow me an alternative. I am again heartbroken for my daughter. Please send me the management office information, so I can submit a formal letter of complaint.

Dr Carol Ann Brooks is the hands down the BEST doctor I’ve EVER had!!! She is an amazing listener, is caring personable and empathetic; I cannot recommend her enough!!!!!
I had a 12pm appt on a Tuesday(today). I confirmed my appt via text on the Friday(last week) before my appt. When I confirmed, it stated the location was at the Oak Street location in Kissimmee. The night before my appt(Monday/last night), I recieved an email confirming again that my appt was at 12pm, Tuesday(next day/today) at the Oak St Kissimmee location. Today, Tuesday, at 11:30am, I show up to the Oak St location. There was a sign on the door stating that all appts will be held at the Lak Nona location. No one every called to tell me this information. No other forms of communication were ever sent to update me. I sat on hold for almost 10 minutes before speaking to someone. They said their records indicated that my provider spoke to me on Friday. THIS IS A LIE! Falsifying medical documents is illegal! I work long hours on Friday and I'm not allowed to have my phone on me. Plus I recieved a text message from the office stating the opposite- "confirming Oak St location." Today I requested an email stating that I wouldn't be charged a late cancellation fee. They wouldn't send me this to me. I requested my appt be changed to telehealth. I was put on hold, stayed on hold until 22 minutes after my appt time, & never given the opportunity to have a telehealth appt. While sitting in Life Stance parking lot, I called my insurance company and explained everything that had just happened. The insurance company looked at their records and stated they had numerous complaints that were similar to mine about this provider and were in the process of dropping them.
