cataract removal some how fluid leaked in behind the Retina and is trapped Dr. Madsen was very reluctant to discuss the issue of fixing the affected eye before doing the other eye he did not say anything about fluid leak in the records but yet I approached him twice he said he could send me to a specialist in Corvallis again not noted in records I reviewed the Medical Records it seems he is trying hide or cover up I could loose my sight over this. The letters of concern will be Drafted and mailed to the proper authorities as a formal complaint Beware he does not speck the truth!

I really feel let down by Dr. Madsen. I originally went in to be tested for reading glasses. My long range eye sight seemed pretty darn good it was my reading/computer work that needed some help. After visiting with Dr. Madsen, he suggested cataract surgery then get glasses for reading/computer correction. Dr. Madsen spoke very highly of the benefits of cataract surgery. Since insurance does not cover the newer lenses that help correct both short and long range eye sight, I chose to have the long range style lens installed in both my right and left eye. It has now been 2 months since my surgery on both eyes. I wish I had never had cataract surgery. My long range and my short range eye sight are both much worse than before surgery. My short range got worse because the lenses are for distance, but the lenses also hurt my long range eye sight. I went in needing glasses only for reading and know I have to have them for reading and long range vision. I feel very let down by Dr. Madsen.
