List of Maritza Rosales's Reviews
Should not be a doctor. Horrible human when you feel the need to harass a patient because she doesn't want the COVID shot. Not your decision lady. She doesn't even deserve a star.
I had her for a doctor since my original Dr had retired. She doesn’t treat people on a personal level but as number. She had no care or understanding of my health other than just throwing meds that I have tried before and that never worked before, yet she still prescribed them. Then she would lecture me about things I already knew that gave me no help or insight to my health. She’s definitely a generic type of Dr. I felt like I had no help from her which left me feeling hopeless and lost. Last thing a patient should feel with their Dr. After a couple months of giving her a try and hoping she would understand or help, I ended up leaving her because I felt at a loss.
Dr Rosales is professional, attentive, patient, helpful, and skilled. She has been my primary doctor for the past two years, and I have always received excellent service from her. Dr Rosales is also my daughter's primary, and my daughter always reports that she is very happy with the care she's received. Without any hesitation I highly recommend Dr Rosales.
Dr. Rosales has got to be the most belittling dr I have ever seen. Every time I try to explain to her my symptoms she cuts me off and lectures me that all she can offer is pills. She is not invested in helping you get to the root of your health issues, she just wants to slap a bandaid on you and push you out the door. Find yourself a different provider if you would like more than just trial and error of prescription drugs.
I'm not surprised to see these negative reviews. Dr. Rosales makes me wonder if any mental health checks are done on doctors either during medical school, in the hiring process, or at any point in their career. She's narcissistic and hateful. Arrogant beyond measure.
I struggle with stress, anxiety, and depression. I just want my medication. Instead I got a non stop waste of my time. She makes poor assumptions and can't read her audience. After my first visit I canceled her as my doctor. I would rather get help from a wall than be berated with words by this woman.
Dr. Rosales is a numbers person. Period. You can talk about numbers with her. She made it very clear that the old-fashioned notion of a doctor-patient relationship isn't gonna happen. Period. Many people my generation are looking for that. After making me wait over 40 minutes for an early appointment she exploded at me when I asked for more support and accused me of trying to make her responsible for my condition. I'm not a 4th grader; I'm almost 60. Quality of life is actually an important consideration to me in talking treatment but it offended her. After all she's the scientist. Yes, I was told that. If you like numbers you'll like her but don't expect anything else.
I very much feel the need to say a few words here regarding our experiences with Dr. Rosales. I am quite surprised to read any negative feedback as she was literally the only Dr. I have ever had that I not only connected with but felt listened to, taken care of and motivated by to change my lifestyle and tackle my health issues. My family worked with Dr. Rosales in Richmond, VA where we and many other patients in the office feel the void that is there without her. Dr. Rosales always took the time to listen to my concerns, never made me feel rushed or hurried and always followed up on requests or paperwork needs in a timely manner. Neither myself nor my family ever had a bad experience while being treated by her and I concur with the reviewer that mentioned a carefree and relaxed way of talking. She is on the real level and we appreciated that! Thank you for taking care of us in Richmond, VA and if we ever make it out to OR we will come see you again!
Unbelievable lack of empathy or tact. My mother has cancer that's being treated by an oncologist who is optimistic about the outcome. "Dr." Rosales immediately told us there's nothing we can do, fill out a right to life form, and call hospice. She was cruel on top of an already difficult situation.
I went in for the first visit and she had a very real personality. She has a carefree relaxed way of talking. ...just like me. I got along great with her cause she was talking in a way that made me feel like I'd known her for awhile. I like Dr's I feel I click with. I felt I clicked with her really well. She does multi-task and types very loudly, but she heard and acted on everything I told her that I needed help with.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
