List of Rachel Elsasser's Reviews
It had been a long time since my last PCP and I was relieved and very comfortable immediately with Dr. Elsasser. She was thoughtful and empathetic and also professional and immediately had some tactical ideas to investigate some of my concerns. I feel confident in going to her and well cared.
She started out as a good enough physician when i didn’t need anything. She has no confidence when it comes to patient care. She also didn’t not disclose diagnosis’s she had made but advised me to check out mychart to review our visit. When i saw said undisclosed diagnosis and called to discuss it took 3 business days for her to call me back.
Compassionate and knowledgable.
She prescribed me amitriptyline for my pain, which is fine, but i had extremely negative responses to it. When I told her that I was definitely not taking it anymore because it made me psychotic, she suggested that I continue to try it and double the dose. She is a joke.

She would not renew my medications that I had been taking for several years as I was new to her practice. I explained that I was due for my annual appointment for my work in two months and that appointment would be paid for by my company. Instead I was forced to come in to renew my meds (Blood pressure), charged for a level 4 appointment and had to pay well over $250!out of pocket only to have to come back for another appointment a short time later. Horrible doctor. Just a money grubber. I guess she just needs to pay off her student loans at any cost to her patients.
Over charged for initial visit. Second visit was a full physical. The most non comprehensive visit with a doctor I have ever had. I changed doctors immediately.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
