List of Asante Ashland Internal Medicine, Endocrinology And Pediatrics's Reviews
updating my review, I have actually had a good conversation with my doctor. I will write a full review once I have deliver the baby and finished my care with Dr. Roth. But I did voice some concerns and we had a good conversation. I was even able to get a hold of her on Christmas day when I had the flu and she made me feel better.
Dr. Blanch is amazing, kind friendly and knowledgeable, unfortunately I will only be under his care for a short time, however I am grateful for the treatment he provided!
I was extremely happy with my care under Dr. Yamane. Unfortunately, he left the clinic. While it doesn't seem like a huge deal, they're transferring patients over to be seen by the next available doctor in September. How are patients supposed to wait five months without being seen? The handling of this has been sloppy and unfair to patients who have been loyal to this office.
It's hit or miss depending on the specific nurses and doctors and staff when you go. They can be very rude sometimes. Or very kind and helpful depending on who's working. Have been treated like crap by some doctors and nurses here. I should have taken action and reported them. Because a few times I felt discriminated against. And was a teenager and didn't understand that as a patient I had rights. Also I thought I was pregnant but wasn't and had a unusual condition and felt like a freak show. The doctor as extremely rude and said some really nasty things and inconsiderate to how scared and anxious I was. Just a question, why don't they have dentists at hospitals. They really should because dental emergencies happen a lot and usually happen during time dentists are closed and it's extremely painful. And instead of treating you like you're faking things they could actually help you.
I wish I could get in the emergency room. They would not let me even with HMO plan. I had to get a doctor referral and even with a doctor referral I still have to wait. I do not like Mt Shasta Mercy Hospital, they are awful and it is dark energy in there. I love the fire place in Asante and I love the feel of it. I have to continue to wait until my appt unless I die before that. I am not happy with HMO's and any other service for that matter because they pretty much want you nearly dead so you receive more intensive hospital services if you are very sick and that is how they do it. This is a very sick world we live in and it is all about money, not about taking care of people, but about "the MONEY!!!!" I feel as if I am dying and nobody will see me!!! I need a Health ADVOCATE!!!! THIS SUCKS!!!!
My 72-year old mother has been recuperating from a fall at a nursing facility in town and was brought to this hospital for a simple x-ray this week. When she arrived, she was put into a hospital bed with the safety rails raised and left COMPLETELY ALONE for an hour. No one came to process her or talk to her or ANYTHING. She couldn't figure out how to lower the safety rails herself in order to find a nurse and she began to CRY out of fear and pain from her injury (she'd been taken out of her nursing facility before she'd gotten her medication for the afternoon). She could hear people laughing and talking nearby, but still NO ONE came to check on her. Eventually, someone came in and my mother asked why it was taking so long. The nurse told her that the x-ray department was very busy and would get to her as soon as they could. When the x-ray technician came in, he said that no one told him my mother was even there until right before he came in to see her, and he hadn't been busy at all. My mother was LIED TO by people being paid to take care of her in order to cover their own incompetence. Thankfully, the x-ray technician was very kind to my mother and is the ONLY reason this joke of a hospital is getting one star. I know that being a nurse is a tough, often thankless, job, but the way they treated my elderly mother is COMPLETELY unacceptable. Kudos to the x-ray technician, but a big, fat F- for everyone else involved in her "care" that day.
I'm a transman who had a hysterectomy here. As a transgender person, it's always nerve wracking going into medical buildings and wondering if you're going to be treated properly. Let me say I'm thrilled at the quality of care I received. Every single nurse, doctor, etc, treated me with respect and used the correct pronouns when talking to/about me. I also had a lot of friends come and visit, all of them trans, and their pronouns were respected as well. Aside from this, the staff were very kind and attentive. It all made my stay that much easier.
I have had my share of having to be in the hospital-I have to say every one all the Nurses were aces they really were the best I have ever had the take care of me. I live in Merlin and I will take the the drive to ashland because they were that good. If any of the nurses are reading this I say thank you for the awesome support after my surgery
The Staff and care in the ER was wonderful. The Staff and the care that I received in the Wound Clinic was outstanding. The care that I received from the UltraSound Tech was super. My problem --- and complaint --- is with those that push paper or keyboard buttons. They decided that they should change my last name --- I am not kidding --- back to my former last name. Not only would have this created problems with my Insurance but also with Medicare.A prescription called to my pharmacy was filled correctly, but in my former name, so my Insurance would not pay. The cost $138.00 !!!! Unfortunately, I had to end my treatment by the Wound Clinic sooner than I should have because of these "Paper Pushers". Great care but I no longer have any trust in Asante. Be very wary of everything. Do not sign anything until you (or someone designated by you) reads it. It could co$t you!
On March 26, 2016 I was called to attend the birth of my granddaughter-early. Driving up from Redding, I was concerned and apprehensive. My daughter and family had just relocated to Ashland from KS where her husband was stationed in the Army. They had not yet transferred their medical info from KS to OR. Nor, had they made a visit to Ashland Community Hospital. All was new. No worries! The amazing staff- Dr. Leslie Stone, RN's, Blossom and Angie; and their support staff ordered all necessary tests, etc. and within one hour, had mom admitted and ready to deliver. There were a few complications involved. I felt absolutely confident and assured that Dr. Stone and staff were readily prepared to conquer whatever issues may arise. Baby was transferred to Rogue Valley Med Center (NICU) later in the day. One week later, all is well! I stand in admiration of every single employee at this wonderful hospital. Professional, supportive, sensitive, friendly and a godsend! Thank you!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
