While our household also received this letter from Asante, I can only speak of my own experience with Dr Hoffman. In 1999, I ended up in Ashland Hospital emergency room due to a severe small bowel obstruction due to a previous surgery done by someone else 4 weeks prior. Dr Hoffman was the surgeon assigned to my case. Half of my intestine had to be removed but he literally saved my life. He came into my room everyday to check on me until I went home. I could see how he may have been curious about how I am doing these days and am convinced that’s all it was. Thank you Dr Hoffman!

I also received a letter stating that Dr. Hoffman accessed my medical records without a medically necessary need. He no longer works for Asante Hospital. I hope that Asante is being honest about this access as I am worried about identity theft.

I received a letter stating Dr. Hoffman inappropriately accessed my medical information out of “curiosity.” He has since been fired as a provider from the entity that discovered his wrongdoing.

I have had six brain operations. The last never healed and became infected. Asant sent me to Ashland Wound Clinic. I feared using of many antibiotics. Not so! Dr. HOFFMAN shaved the specific area then treated it using padded silver mesh bandages! The whole experience was soothing and instructive. Dr. Hoffman is gentle, open-minded and deeply knowledgeable. THANK YOU DR. HOFFMAN!

Dr. HOFFMAN is a real healer with a gentle touch, deep wisdom, honesty, and an absolute expert. I have had six brain surgeries and the last simply would not heal. Asante sent me to Ashland Wound Center and I feard a barrage of harsh drugs. Not so! Dr. HOFFMAN shaved exactly thay area, teated it with padded siler mesh bandages and opened my eyes.
