Mark has been my cancer doctor for almost 11 years. He listens to what I have to say doesn’t brush off my concerns. Also has seen me through 2 episodes of lung cancer and even though he’s leaving Abington he is very involved with this episode I’m having now! Really going to miss him!

When I first encountered Dr. Sundermeyer, I mistaken took him for a teenaged volunteer at the hospital. I was fortunate enough to have that impression corrected by being taken under his care and treatment, which was the most fortunate medical event ever. He is an experienced physician, no holds barred in a most sensitive way, informative and kind. I would recommend him to anyone needing his specific medical services.

My husband and I met with with Dr Sundermeyer after having a horrible experience with a hematologist with another hospital. Dr Sundermeyer started off by asking us how we're handling everything and took the time to hear our story and get to know us. He is truly a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor that puts his patients first. I would recommend Dr. Sundermeyer to anyone. We're very glad to went for a second opinion.

I felt that in all areas that a physician should encompass - knowledge, application of knowledge, common sense, coming up with remedies agreed to by both sides, addressing hidden worries that he senses and empathizes with are outstanding and wonderful.

It's been years since my husband was a patient of Dr. Sundermeyer, and we saw hundreds of doctors over the eight years we battled his cancer. Of all the doctors we saw, Dr. Sundermeyer stands out for his care and compassion. At the time, you didn't have to wait hours and hours to be seen and the doctor or his staff always called you back when you needed them. Truly, that kind of doctor is a rarity. My sister has now been diagnosed with cancer and I will be referring her to him. He is a gem!
