List of Robert Barlow's Reviews
I never had wrote a review in my life.. The Legacy Health Office in Beaverton Oregon, I went for the Preventive visit and the doctor office billed my insurance one for preventive visit and one for office visit because I asked couple questions. Never been charged when asking the doctor a question. Be aware of this office if you go in for the Preventive visit, just shut your mouth, if you speak they will bill your insurance double.
Dr. Robert Barlow has been my primary care physician for over 25 years. He is personable and an excellent physician who cares deeply about his patients and staff. He has provided me with the best of medical attention, care and advice since the day I first entered his office as a patient. I highly recommend Dr. Barlow to anyone needing medical attention.
Two faced doctor. He not what he seems. It seems like he cared. But he does it. He only cares about the Mighty Dollar. And he sends you the people that are new in your industry to practice on you. So make sure you check the doctor he transfers you to. I wouldn't trust his trains first..
Dr. Barlow was fantastic when I first started seeing him, however in the past 2 years it seems more like seeing me and my son is a chore that he must perform. He has become condescending and no longer explains anything without multiple follow up questions. I am currently looking for a new doctor.
I haven't encountered a less professional physician, and I've been going to GP's for several decades. I plan to file a complaint with The Oregon Medical Assoc. and will leave it at that. Aside from my problems with the doctor, anticipate a 45 min. wait time and good luck on prescription refills.
Very friendly and reasonable.
I had a medical issue and he referred me to a doctor that had two stars on Health Grades. I went to go see that doctor he did not seem to be experienced enough to take care of what I needed. I think he was right out of college. My pain is still here and I am going to have to go out of state to get it taking care of. Nice doctor but doesn't do what is right For the patient. nice dosnt fix people or cure them. Dr are supposed to make people feel better. In my experience is don't trust him.
He does not rush you in and out. He has a genuine interest in his patients as people. When I see him, he asks about current condition, and also asks about issues that I have seen him for in the past, that my medications are still working as expected, etc. wait time is less of an issue, now that he is has his new practice.
...and we certainly would have switched to another by now if we were unhappy with him. However, I couldn't agree more with the reviewers who've mentioned how much they appreciate the time he spends with them, he never makes you feel rushed or stupid for coming in. He takes the time to figure out what's going on and make you feel better.Yes, we do have to wait a few extra minutes sometimes but is there a doctor's office anywhere where you don't have to? :) Anyway I highly recommend him.
I felt I had to write this after reading a really poor review that Dr. Barlow got. I have never had a negative experience with him or anyone in his office. In fact, out of all the doctors I've seen in the last 20 years he has spent the most time with me, the way doctors used to be, and is my favorite by far. I never feel rushed and no errors have ever been made in regards to labwork, records etc. He is very professional, easy going and easy to talk to. Sometimes the wait times are long, but other times they are quick. I would highly reccomend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
