List of Anita Henderson's Reviews
I started seeing Dr. Henderson a couple months ago and she's been a great resource as I work through my health struggles
Dr. Henderson is the absolute worst doctor I've ever seen. She doesn't care about her patients, and her arrogance, condescension, heartlessness, outright ignorance, and perhaps criminal negligence almost costed me my life. Do not see this Doctor, especially if you have mental health issues, I beg of you
Anita has been the best doctor I have ever had. She listens to me when I struggle and always puts my thoughts and feelings first. I have had other doctors completely negate the symptoms I have had and ignore them, but Dr. Henderson does not do that. She does whatever she can to ease my mind including ordering labs and making other referrals. I appreciate her so much!
I am impressed with Dr. Henderson’s care. She has been nothing but a pleasure to work with.
Dr. Henderson has done a great job listening to my concerns and working with me to create a personalized health plan. I appreciate her thoughtfulness, knowledge, and experience.
My prior PCP retired and I was referred to Dr. Henderson. Today was my first time meeting Dr. Henderson. Her warmth, eye contact and knowledge of my medical history even during this initial visit made me very comfortable. I look forward to having Dr. Henderson as my PCP for years to come.
My mother...Who is in a memory care home... Has reoccurring bouts with cellulitis in her legs. Knowing that, Doctor Henderson would not just prescribe her the medication and demanded to see her. Not necessary! So, I brought her in for her appointment, and all doctor Henderson did was cut the already dried blood soaked gauze and wraps that were on her leg..cut about 2 inches to peek in to see the wound, and taped it back up..sent her on her way with a prescription. I was thinking that maybe she was going to send in a nurse to change the gauze... But that didn't happen. Plus, mom has a hard time walking, so why put her thru all this?? What kind of patient care is this?! Seems like she's just wanting to collect some money from her patients. Found a new doctor right away!
Dr. Henderson has been my PCP for 2 yrs. She is attentive & detailed however the support staff is hard to work with. Dr Henderson has 2 locations: urgent care and a patient office, availability is definitely an issue. Had to leave numerous messages to get a prescription ordered & when I finally did get a call back, I felt like I was being a bother. A needed MRI was denied by insurance because it was not sent with enough documentation to support it which caused much delayed care. Additionally, her office and perhaps Highlakes in general (not sure) does not subscribe to the PAC system, a records sharing platform, this proved inconvenient when records from other providers are needed for treatment or insurance. I found out the hard way that the same day online appointment scheduling system does not work. When I arrived for my appointment that was confirmed via text and email, I was told that system does not work. If you are looking for a team to work WITH you, I would look elsewhere.
I saw her to establish a new primary. She gave me excellent eye contact and listened well. She was willing to cooperate with my other primary to help in coordinating my care. Very caring and educated about testing and labs to perform relating to my rare condition. I feel I’m in good hands:-)
She seems to think everyone has an eating disorder that she sees. Also has an obsession with death.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
