Easiest doctor's appointment ever. I didn't have to assert myself once- he asked all the right questions and really listened. He explained things in plain English, and I really believe his recommendations are going to help me. The entire appointment was very conversational and comfortable.

I needed a new doctor due to a change in my health insurance coverage. No one could see me for at least 2-5 months out! I was grateful to be taken on as a new patient and had my first My Chart Video appointment with him recently. He was down to earth, kind and very professional and I felt quite at ease going over the different issues I’ve been battling. He is a good listener and I didn’t feel judged but felt confident that he was going to be the right doctor for me at this stage in my life. Going on 60 years of age I thought I needed a female doctor (although I have a gynecologist for women’s health care.) But even after just my first visit I knew this was no longer the case. I know he will be the perfect doctor for me in caring for all my other needs. His expertise and caring nature along with keen insight make him a very good ‘family doctor.’ When it comes to his patient’s health he is one who believes in getting to the root cause of a problem rather than just treating the symptoms. This is exactly what I was hoping for! I’m not against taking prescribed medications by any means but I no longer wish to be on any medication I don’t need to be on (as I feel some have actually hurt my health over time rather than have helped me.) I’m really grateful to Anthony Gunsul for taking on a new ‘OHP patient’ at this time when so many others couldn’t or maybe wouldn’t? Certainly, I do not make ‘judgment’ on anyone as I understand it’s just how this system works, like it or not. I’m just always grateful for good doctors, nurses and good healthcare and during this pandemic it’s especially important to me. So after my recent search it’s been very reassuring for me to find another good doctor once again. Thank you so much Anthony Gunsul, DO for taking me on as a new patient (as well as others at St. Charles Family Care who have helped me recently.) You’re all AWESOME!

I find Dr Gunsul very personable, knowledgable and professional. He took time to answer all my questions and I trust his decisions.

He is careless with terrible manners and neglectful as well as forgetful! He is in this for a paycheck n it's crystal clear! Be the end of this aweful experience I plan for no one else to have to deal with this playschool pos! He is on strike 2 with my family after my mother and sons father trust titll not get to strike 3!!! I'm on a mission to have his helpless services removed from our community!

He is a phenomenal doctor goes out of his way to get to know the patient. He cares about the patient. He thinks outside of the box. And he’s passionate about helping others and it’s obvious I am so grateful for his expertise, he diagnosed me with something that six different doctors couldn’t figure out and it took him two minutes to figure out. I finally have hope and I am forever grateful

Dr. Gunsul is thorough and won’t push prescriptions on you. He listens to concerns and allows tests to be done for even the peace of mind. He was personable and thorough with his explanations, I’d recommend him. He spends a lot of time with you and ensures you have nothing else to talk about before he leaves.

My review is based on a new patient appointment with Dr. Gunsul. I found him to be personable and thorough. I especially appreciate his approach to medication and procedures - he does not prescribe them unless they are truly necessary.

Does not listen. Thinks all other Dr.s are idiots. Doesn't remember or seem to care the reason for your visit. Dismissive.

I have moved to Bend and chose Anthony Gunzel for a primary care doc. After a brief meeting he made drastic changes to a complex medication regimen. The changes caused severe complications in my life. His actions were irresponsible and hurtful. My clinic experience with Gunzul can be characterized as cold and draconian. I would strongly recommend any other family practice doc OTHER THAN Gunzle. I have found a different doc.
