Desert Orthopedics West Bend's Online Review Report Card

This is a medical center I actually enjoy going to. My two Dr.s McCleery and Goodman are the best! Their MAs and support staff are stellar and front staff are welcoming.

Dr. Smith is an exceptional physician with excellent bedside manner as well as exceptional surgical skills. I have worked in the medical field for over 35 years and Dr. Smith is a rare find. I’m going back to him for surgery on my other wrist. I would highly recommend Dr. Smith without any hesitation!

Dr Smith and staff were professional and friendly at same time. Loved his bedside manor and how friendly he was. His MA was great and i felt comfortable having my carpal tunnel surgery done in office. Had great results !

Every experience I have had with Desert Orthopedics has been incredibly efficient and enjoyable. They got me in just two days after I had injured myself, and I was in surgery one week later. I had already been recovering from surgery for 6 weeks when The Center (the ortho the hospital had written my referral to) called to get me in to be seen!! Cannot recommend Desert Orthopedics enough. Dr. Naimark and PA Michael Dennis have been nothing but wonderful to work with, and fixed me up better than I could have hoped for.

Please Doctors and Staff, remember because you seem to not care, the tasteless stuff you are saying about patients can be heard by all through the thin walls. Especially hurts when you are the patient, seeking help and have this happen. My doctor referred me to the wrong type of doctor, I waited months, without sleep and in pain, to the point I've considered taking my own life. This doctor belittled me, made me feel as if I was wasting his time, because he doesn't do muscle stuff. We weren't sure if it was muscle or bone that was causing the issue that's why I was referred. After being condescending for a short period of time the doctor ask if I wanted him to send a referral for a doctor that would actually see me. He claim they had a whole bunch of them on the other side of the practice. It's been a month and a half and I've called and I've still not gotten an appointment. I was able to ask my primary care for a referral to the center and they call me the same day and have me scheduled already. If you think you're above your patients or you feel the need to talk about them then maybe you should find a different career or a happy place in your life. Those coming to seek treatment do not need your judgments passed on to them.

I called to schedule a consult and was met with a very rude receptionist. I explained that I had injured my shoulder over the weekend and went into Now Care shortly after. I did not feel confident that the surgeon who saw me there cared and had previously seen someone at Desert Ortho a year prior and would like to be seen there. She berated me and started lecturing me about how I shouldn’t switch because I had an MRI scheduled. I explained that I scheduled the MRI myself and I understood I needed one and that I knew it would be a couple weeks before I could get one. I just wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the provider who was supposed to be caring for me. That was my reason for wanting to switch. She continued to berate me and pretty much refused to scheduled me. It was so very uncalled for. I gave up and hung up after it became clear she just wanted to lecture me endlessly.

Easy to connect with them. And get consultation..warmth and caring even as I struggled to be there. As im recovering from heart attack..there Dr.repeated things as necessary for My understanding.choices..risks..timing..all with upbeat energy.and caring..felt they really care..very patient.front desk staff too..just.wonderful.. Ill be under their care as together we seek best.answers for Me.

Always treated with friendly and professional respect. I can't think of one reason to complain. Great orthopedic group...
