After trying for 2 weeks, leaving voice messages and website contact messages at Desert Orthopedics trying to get a callback to set up an appointment, I finally gave up. On a recommendation from a neighbor I called Dr Katerina Urch at the Center in Redmond and got an appointment in 2 days. My visit was excellent. Dr Urch was attentive, professional and did a great job on my bum knee. She (painlessly) drained some meniscus fluid from my knee and injected it with cortisone, bringing almost instant relief. I can recommend this fine doctor without any hesitation. I'm so happy I was able to find her.

Dr. Urch repaired my rotator one year ago and I think she did an excellent job. My recovery seemed faster than expected and a better experience than others I’ve talked with who had similar procedures.

Dr. Urch was my surgeon for both knee replacements and was awesome. Her knowledge, empathy, and expertise changed my life. Thanks to her and a lot of physical therapy I am leading a new life without pain. Her explanation of the surgery to my then 10 year old grandson, was so graphic that even he considers her a super-hero!

I’m a cyclist and a weightlifter, so when I noticed weakness and pain in my right leg and weakness in my left leg, I walked into The Center Orthopedic and Neurosurgery Care and Research. There I encounter Dr Urch who used imaging and a physical examination to give me a clear idea of what I was facing. She authorized additional imaging and medication to further understand my problem and to keep me comfortable. When later in the week I had additional questions for her, she got back to me within an hour or so. I guess the fact that she is also an athlete means a lot to me. Great bedside manner and I would defiantly recommend her.
