Office staff are kind, paperwork all virtual, and location clean. I’m most impressed w/ my visit bc unlike previous gynecologist visits I had at other places,I didn’t wait long at all and the dr I saw (dr Rattazzi) was very patient and actually took the time to answer my questions and explained various health issues that I was most concerned about without judgment. I felt like my health was actually important. Definitely recommend as quality care.

High Lakes gynecology in Bend is Amazing. They now have appointment scheduling online so that you don’t have to call and be left of hold for forever like most places. They also have their paperwork online so you don’t have to come in early to fill it all out. The staff is super nice, the facility is clean and welcoming. They even have robes instead of hospital gowns which makes appointments feel more comfortable. I have only seen Dr. Bird there and she is probably the best doctor I have ever been too. She has been the first person to take the time to sit, look me in the eyes rather than talking to me at a computer, and let me fully express myself. She doesn’t say “do you have any other questions” and move on so fast that you can’t ask, but she makes sure you actually think about it and have the space to ask. The first time I received birth control from high lakes, the first doctor I had didn’t even ask me my concerns or give me options, she just prescribed me the easiest thing (which ended up being an awful choice for me). But when I went to see Dr. Bird she listened to my concerns, laid out options, and helped me pick the right thing for my body. I ended up getting a different IUD than I had planned to because she educated me so well on side effects that I hadn’t known about. She also placed my IUD and she along with the nurse were so calm and reassuring. It ended up being painless for me when I was expecting excruciating pain. I highly recommend this facility and I am sure that all of the doctors they have there now are fantastic.

Dr. Bird and her AMAZING assistant Emily made me feel so comfortable! Talked about some sensitive topics for myself at least and they really made me feel awesome!!

I’ve been really nervous about getting an IUD (surprising for someone who loves tattoos and piercings) but finally decided to go through with it. And I must say, I’m so glad I went to High Lakes. The assistant/nurse, Emily, was so kind and helpful! She kept me calm and helped me manage any discomfort during the process. She was so great, and made what could have been a really painful, vulnerable experience into something really not that bad. I mean, it’s still an IUD implant procedure, but she really made it the best it could have been! I unfortunately cannot remember the doctor’s name, but she was also wonderful and walked me through everything as it was happening, which I really appreciated. Also, a really great conversationalist which I appreciated as it distracted me a bit. 10/10 recommend this great team! So kind, sensitive and knowledgeable.
