Dr. Strom was absolutely amazing for our unplanned c-section. She was kind, made us feel at ease, and so precise and neat with the incision. The scar is hardly going to be noticable and we're so thankful she was on call that day.

Probably one of the most unfortunate interactions I have had with a doctor. The team at women's group is great and supportive and I do not write this lightly but Janelle Storm did not provide the best support nor composed a professional manner. My visit could have been no longer than 15 minutes with Dr. Storm. Which she had already not prepared for, skimming the notes provided from a previous doctor when she entered. I have been referred by a team of doctor's to seek preventative care for an ailment that has been intrusive and debilitating. All Dr. Storm was in a position to do was provide me with information on a surgical procedure. Instead she provided me with an attitude that showed judgement and frustration. She told me in the 10 minutes we spoke that I was doing just fine and that she did not recommend a procedure every other health professional has recommended for me. She became petulant and unprofessional when I let her know I would like to continue with my preventative care given to how severe and intrusive the condition is on my life. She stayed cold and did not even ask me proper questions nor make the effort to understand my condition. It sounded as if she is angry and overworked and her not wanting to approve me for the surgery was more for her own personal reasons than my best interest. She continued bringing up my insurance, OHP, which made it sound like a discriminatory factor as to why she wanted to refuse me the procedure. I know certain insurances do not pay out as highly as out of pocket costs and other marketplace insurances. The surgery is a low risk procedure and from the way she phrased the risks, "YOU might be the 1/500th person who ends up with complications" seemed to be done with the intention to intimidate me. She is a "professional" and is not ignorant to wording and phrasing. Risks are obvious and I know it is a surgeons job to provide all potential risks. But her phrasing and intentions behind her words were unethical. I read the reviews on Google after my experience and I found other patients have had similar experiences with Dr. Storm. I wonder if there is a pattern in her behavior after knowing I am not the only one. Especially when the others' raising the same concerns have Hispanic/Latino last names. I hope for that to just be a coincidence but unfortunately doctor's are not past prejudice. Eventually Dr. Storm approved me for my surgery because I did not budge but I hope to find a different surgeon because at this point knowing she would be the one to perform it makes me feel unsafe. It is important to build a rapport Dr. to patient and Dr. Storm made it obvious that she did not care for me and my health.

Dr. Strom is not just professional but also personable! She asked great questions that covered the scope of my health concerns not just the surface level. I would highly recommend her to all my friends and family!

Janelle Strom was my Surgeon for my full Hysterectomy and she made me feel so heard and comfortable with this surgery. I was very nervous and anxious, she out my mind at ease, the surgery itself was done robotically with her at the controls. I had to spend a night in hospital, however everything was great. Pain was controlled and managed well. I felt very safe leaving and going home with was a 3 hour drive. My follow up went great and she even had my main Dr. Regan Gage come in and see me as I had been seeing her for many years. It was awesome. I in some ways regret waiting so long but in others I’m glad I did. Over all I would give her 100 stars for excellence!!!!

I felt very cared for, respected, and comfortable with such a knowledgeable and efficient gynecologist. My postmenopausal issues are stressful and she put me at ease.
