List of Jeremy Flagel's Reviews
This is the most dangerous doctor I have ever encountered! He didn't listen to a word I said then filled my records with totally untruthful and malicious statements. It was completely intentional because I had the nerve to ask questions about his lack of attention to my previous records. He showed me alright, made sure any professional who sees my records in the future will treat me like a dangerous psychotic when all I had was a major depressive episode! What a sick sick sad excuse for a mental health professional!!!
Thinks of his patients as less than human. He makes rash and unfair accusations that could really damage a patient very badly. In short, a very sick person. Should not be licensed,
Awesome. Dr. Flagel is a wonderful doctor and I was disappointed when he left PCSD.
Threatening, authoritative and arrogant. Not considerate and extremely poor bedside manner in a mental health setting.
This guy is the WORST OF THE WORST. The nephew I raised was seeing him and this clown kept actually believing he was fine, not working at all to get his meds figured. My nephew had been diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia by another institution. This poophead was at PCSD, which is the most compassionless, uncaring place I've ever had any experience with. They are only there to get rich off of you. Since my nephew was over 18, the most I could do was send "Dr. Ding-a-ling" faxes as to how poorly he was doing. This guy is an uncaring, unprofessional jerk who is only there to separate you from your bucks. A snake oil salesman would be a better doctor. My nephew finally started getting the help he really needed, and his meds figured out only after leaving this Quack. Actually, Quack is too good of word for this guy. He would be much more helpful to people as a janitor than he is disgracing the title, "Doctor". If your insurance will cover anybody else, DON'T LET YOURSELF BE STUCK WITH THIS MONEY GRUBBING QUACK! 1 Star is too many, but you can't choose 0 stars.
Great Dr. who listens and cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him. He was wonderful with someone I love. He singly handly figured out what was wrong. Went above and beyond to resolve the issue.
I haven't been the same without you.there no one else that has worked for me .there is no one left I hope you are doing well .. Leann
Was a patient until he left San Diego on hiatus. Was just hoping he had returned back to San Diego. Again, best, most compassionate, and understanding psychiatrist I've ever had! He even met with my older parents to explain the facts and answer questions about my depression!! Thank you for the years of help!!
You're basically required to see your dr. every 6 months to maintain your prescription. My prescription was stable with no changes but Dr. Flagel insists on seeing his patients every 3 months. It's a 15 minute conversation about pretty much nothing that you get to pay for and he gives you your drugs. He will block you prescription if you don't schedule it. One time this happened so I called him. He never returned the calls and blamed the front desk while I went several days without my prescription and felt very ill. One time he had them schedule a follow up with me that I never knew about then charged me $50 for not showing up. He forced me to schedule and pay for another appointment to get a refund for that one. He will pretty much let you self-prescribe and if you want someone to talk to he'll recommend a counselor because that's not something he does. He's very intelligent and I suspect that a lot of people will appreciate that. He may be the right doctor to diagnose you but consider long term care carefully.
I wish i was referred to dr Flagel at the beginning of my treatment. He spends time with his patients and takes feedback from his patients seriously. He is not a pill pusher what many psychiatrists have unfortunately become. The patient's wellbeing is his top priority.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
