Dr. May is an exceptional psychiatrist. I have been seeing him for many years now. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to talk and listen. He is down to earth and extremely knowledgeable about medications and psychiatry and wellness in general. I would absolutely recommend him. The office staff is helpful and pleasant. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. May and his practice. I trust his clinical judgment and advisement completely.

Dr. May and his staff were very professional. He gave me all of the time that I needed to address my issues. His knowledge of medical interactions was spectacular. I would recommend his care every day of the week.

It is impossible to call and speak to anyone. Dr. May is constantly canceling appointments at the last minute. The office also does not take prescription refills seriously at all. It has taken me as long as week to get my daily medicine refilled and by then I am going through withdrawls from stopping cold turkey. They simply just do not care about the patient.

Dr May’s office staff is complacent with patients. If you think you are going to call and actually speak to someone. think again. My insurance company has asked for 2 weeks on clarification on a RX prescribed. No one contacted them so I don’t get it. Very poor office environment.

Dr. May is an amazing psychiatrist and I recommend him highly. Unlike other psychiatrists where I have felt like I was just a number in a revolving door situation; Dr. May has taking the time to really understand my situation and my goals regarding medication. While meeting with, him he is very organized and communicates well my options and then does a great job of summarizing the plan going forward. Recently I was in a great degree of distress when I went to an appointment; I tried to shortcut the conversation so I would not make him late for his next appointment. He insisted that I take the time to express what was going on and reassured me that most people understand that at some point they may be the ones needing additional time. Again I have a lot of respect for Dr May as a psychiatrist and as a fellow human being. Thank you for letting me share my experience.

Dr. May is helping me with a complicated memory issue that other doctors were not able to diagnose. He has carefully reviewed all medical records and is one by one ruling out all possible diagnoses. I feel confident that he will help me get to the bottom of what I am dealing with medically and help me find some relief to my symptoms.
