By reading her notes on my chart, some things I never said, called me a liar a disabled veteran I was insulted by that bad opinionated Dr. She's cold dispassionate distant. As 8n my military records you need top secret or above to access the true records, she said I was coming there for housing even tho I have housing, she knows nothing cause after the 1st morning I shut down, so all she did was assume everything an make in correct assertions, later that night while still feeling suicidal I had to go to the distablelisatiion ctr to get help. She's a so called Dr who shouldn't be working at that shag view facility, she doesn't have the heart for it an much less any understanding with veterans with combat PTSD etc! It's not a place for veterans in the 1st place. There not ready for us you can't diagnose etc veteran like you do with regular people, when you try veterans end up committing suicide. An it does happen. It almost happened with me my 1st night out!!!!!

Dr. Heck was my first psychiatrist 3-4 years ago in arizona. she made me feel safe enough to open up and was patient with me always and really helped me. she ended up moving and made sure i got another psychiatrist who was also great. i will never forget her or the experience i had with her.
